Prada "Candy" Fragrance : Léa Seydoux

This is not a new ad, but I wanted to talk about it now that Christmas is almost here and we are going to watch tons and tons of perfume ads on the tv. I find this ad brilliant, because it has a good "model" (she's actually an actress) and the shape of the bottle is really atractive. I also love the tv commercial since is fun and effective. Sometimes, huge brands (like Prada) make big mistakes when they do commercials and forget they are major brands and they should keep it classy even when they try to do something more commercial. Actually, and this is sad, the only thing I don't like about it is the way the perfume smells. I'm a big perfume fan, I have a lot and I'm very picky when I'm deciding which perfume I'm going to get. Mostly because I just buy expensive perfumes and I'm not going to spend 70 euros on something I don't love. Well, if I'm honest, I don't buy them, I get them for Christmas or my birthday, but still, I don'

Juicy Couture "La la" fragance: Karlie Kloss by Inez & Vinoodh

I usually hate Juicy Couture ads because they are sort of tacky and bad. But I like this ad, as I liked the one with Sasha. They seem to deliver a better result with perfume campaigns, because the mainline is a mess. And it's a shame because they hire great models, but they make them look so bad. But this ad is different, is simple, fresh and...simple again. Sometimes, the more simple the better.

Christian Dior Cosmetics "Cherie Bow" Spring 2013 : Daria Strokous by Steven Meisel

Daria is Raf's darling, and that means she's the new Dior girl. But we have to say that a few months before Raf started to work for Dior, she already did a Pre-Fall campaign, so she was already sort of a Dior girl. But now it's definitive. She closed the HC show and opened the RTW one. She has also done like 3 beauty campaigns in a row. But this one is THE one. It's not as photoshoped as the other ones, the pose is not that odd (because sometines, beauty ads need to show everything -nail polish, eye shadow, lipstick, etc...- and they have to do the strangest poses). And I love how simple the stylish (by Carine Roitfeld) is, with that little bow as the highlight of the picture. And Daria looks amazing because she's super beautiful. The question is...would she get the Dior campaign as an only girl, or with another model? Because, obviously, she's doing the campaign. Daria es la niña bonita de Raf, y eso significa que es la nueva chica Dior. Pero

H&M: “Love the Holidays” Winter 2012 Campaign (Daria Werbowy by Mikael Jansson)

A few days ago I was walking on the street and I saw this campaign at one of the H&M stores that I usually visit and, I fell in love. I know is just H&M, not Chanel or Prada, but I love it...Daria for H&M is like the best combination in the world. And, I'm not Daria's biggest fan but I think she really knows how to make this clothes look more luxurious than they really are. And, let's be honest...what are campaigns for? They are supposed to make you want to go to the store and buy their products. Obviously, if we speak about a major HF brand, a campaign may be artistic as well....but mor

Vogue covers (December 2012):

Here I am with some of the December covers that are already out. December is, as you may already know ;), the last month of the year and is quite an important month for magazines. It's not as important as September, or March, but it has something special and magazine directors always try to do something different and good this month. What I mean is that they put an extra effort on December but then their January's issue is usually weak. For some magazines, such as Vogue Paris, this is their December/January cover and issue, which is another reason to try to do a good job. Another thing we have to think about is that Christmas is coming, and we usually see some festive colours on the covers (lots of green and red) or even some snow, or references to religion (for example, last year's December cover of Vogue Spain with Dree H. and a baby, which made us think on Virgin Mary and Jesus). Speaking about Vogue Spain, I'm really looking forward to seeing their December issue

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012!!

We already have photos and info from the show. It was Adriana Lima who opened it and Toni Garrn who closed it. At least, that how it looks like acording to the photos, but the CBS sometimes edit the videos and change the order of the segments. But if they keep this order, Toni closed it. There were 6 segments (Circus, Dangerous Liaisons, Calendar Girls, PINK is me, Silver Screen Angels, Angels in Bloom). I think the outfits are, in general, better than the last few years. The ones from the Pink section are terrible, but that's nothing new. My favourite wings are the ones Constance wore during Dangerous Liaisons. What I didn't like is that they have someone performing in 5 out of 6 segments. This is a fashion show, not a concert. Now I'm going to show you the models who walked for each segment and in which order. I saw this on the internet, and it might be wrong, so if there is a mistake, forgive me ;) Ya tenemos fotos e información sobre el show. Fue Adriana Lima
