My gif (Video source: Prada's yt channel) Two of my favourite brands and two of my favourite campaigns. Steven Meisel at his finest, ladies and gentlemen.  Dos de mis marcas favoritas y dos de mis campañas favoritas.  Señoras y señores,  Steven Meisel en estado puro. Prada Spring/Summer 2016: Sasha Pivovarova, Natalia Vodianova & Yamin Wijnaldum by Steven Meisel Sasha! The ultimate Prada girl is back. And she looks amazing on this ad. She just belongs here. What about Yasmin and Natalia? Love them both on these pictures. I don't really like Yasmin on the runway, but I have to admit she looks good here. And I was a bit surprised to see Natalia as part of this campaign. She has always been a favourite of Steven, but I've never seen her as a Prada girl. However, she looks stunning.  All in all, it's a great ad. Everything works together really nicely. ¡Sasha! La chica Prada por excelencia ha vuelto. Y

Dior Magazine #13: Sofia Mechetner by Camilla Akrans

Hi, Cinderella! That was Sofia's nickname when she opened the Dior Couture show less than a year ago. After that, she became popular because of her "scouting" story and because of her age. How young is too young? She also opened the Dior SS 16 show and it's one of the stars of the campaign. I didn't really pay attention to her at first, but her Dior campaign showed me what I big mistake I was doing by "ignoring" her. Isn't she a stunner? And the camera surely loves her. She's like a (even) younger and softer version of Anna Ewers, but has a strong personality that makes her quite unique. I have a huge crush on this sweetheart! And when I saw this editorial, I knew I should make it official by sharing it with you. I'm not too keen on the retouching that has been done on these pictures. However, when I focus on her and forget about the rest...I only see her insane beauty.  What do you guys think of Sofia? =) Also, I rec

My gif (Video source: Dior's yt channel) Dior Spring/Summer 2016: Grace Hartzel, Roos Abels, Maartje Verhoef, Sofia Mechetner, Binx Walton & Staz Lindes by Patrick Demarchelier It's my birthday today. Cake for everyone!! Today I wanted to do the same thing I did last year: talk about my favourite campaign of the season. I currently am obsessed with Dior. I love their clothes. their make-up, their accessories, ...I would do ANYTHING for a Diorama bag (in blue). Again: Hint! Hint! ;) This campaign is one of the reasons why I'm obsessed with the brand. It's stunning! First of all, I love the cast. Maartje, Grace, Roos, ...and Sofia, who is one of my new favourites. All of them are gorgeous girls that fit the brand completely.  I think the images show the clothes and the accesories beautifully, which is very important. And so does the video. This was Raf's last collection and, even though this ad was done after he left, I feel like they ma

Vogue México February '16: Blanca Padilla by Álvaro Beamud Cortés

When I talked about the February covers, I raved about Blanca's cover and told you I'd talk about it this month. Well, here I am doing what I promised. As you can see, there are 2 covers. One is for México and the other one for Latin America. The LA one is ok, but it's nothing new. The Mexican one, however...STUNNING!! Blanca is a very sexy woman, who is often styled as a meditarrean beauty. That's why I like the other cover, and the cover story, because it proves she can be versatile. She fits the more minimalistic look perfectly. Hopefully, this editorial will show designers how she can fit in their shows with no problem. Awesome job!
