Vogue Paris June/July 2014: Anna Ewers & Natasha Poly by Inez & Vinoodh

Imagen
What can I say about this ed? I absolutely love it. I love both Anna and Natasha, and they look their best in this editorial. I'll talk about the cover soon, but I'm going to say now that I like the ed better. I feel like there are pictures in this ed that would have made a better cover. Anna's pictures are my least favourites, even though I love them. But Natasha just shines. Look at that body!! The under the water shots are very NTM, which I love ;) I just think it's the perfect summer editorial. I don't say this very often but...well done, Vogue Paris! Me encanta.

Cannes 2014: Barbara Palvin at the amfAR Gala

Imagen
The first time Barbara attended the Cannes festival she looked STUNNING! I have no words to describe how beautiful her Valentino HC dress was, and how perfect the make-up looked. Since that, she attended the festival twice. I liked some of her looks, but none of them can be compared with that first one. However, I think she looked really nice at the amfAR Gala. And that's why I'm showing you her outfit. You all know I'm not a crazy Elie Saab fan, but this gown is pretty nice. It isn't sparkly, which is nice. I think it makes her look very sexy, but also classy. I also love the hair.

Cannes 2014: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley at the amfAR Gala

I usually love Rosie's style, but I wasn't really enjoying her Cannes looks this year. But this Pucci dress she wore yesterday changed it all. I love Pucci, and this dress is not an exception. It looked beautiful on the runway, and it looks amazing on Rosie. She always adds her personality to the outfits, which makes them even better. Hair and make-up were great too. She looked stunning. Estaba preciosa.

Cannes 2014: Alessandra Ambrosio at the "Two days, one night" premiere

Imagen
Alessandra is not only a model, but a celebritie. That's why we get to see her on the red carpet quite often. She looks good most of the time, but she also has her bad days. Yesterday was a great day for her. She attended a Chopard party on Monday and I really disliked her outfit. They styled all the models who were there as a group, and most of them looked terrible. But like I said, we all have bad days. Yesterday, she nailed it. She wears Balmain and Alexandre Vauthier often, and I think she should wear Versace all the time. Their designs suit her personality really well. Take this dress as an example. The cut is really beautiful and sexy. Also, the colour compliments her skin tone beautifully. If you want to know how I liked this Atelier Versace collection, you can read it here:   http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2014/01/haute-couture-ss-14-day-1-atelier.html But what I like the most is that she had her hair up in a ponytail. She has a beautiful profile and I think s

Cannes 2014: Aymeline Valade at the "Saint Laurent" premiere

Imagen
I didn't know Aymeline was an actress too, and now I'm curious to see her acting. I never liked her as a model, but she may be a decent actress. Why not? She plays Betty Catroux in the "Saint Laurent" movie. And that's why she attended the premiere. I think she looked really good, since she plays Yves' muse on the movie. And we know how important the smoking was on Yves' career. So her look really fits the event. She's wearing a design from a brand called Pallas. I don't think she would have looked better on a gown. I also like the Chanel earrings, because they add a feminine touch to the look. The hair is quite horrible, and I hope she goes back to brunette now that she's done filming.

Cannes 2014: Natasha Poly at the 'Saint Laurent' Premiere

Imagen
Natasha usually looks great on the red carpet. She's an amazing model, and she definetely knows how to wear every single outfit. She attended the Cannes festival a couple of years ago, and she looked flawless at every premiere and party she attended. That's why this look disappointed me. I won't like this Oscar de la Renta dress on someone else, but she makes it work. The top part of the dress is very nice, but the bottom part is not that pretty. I don't mean this is an ugly dress at all, but I don't think it's good enough for a premiere. However, she works the dress perfectly. She makes it look way better that Lindsay did on the runway. Her personality is what makes the look work. Also, the hair looks great and the make up is perfect for that dress.

Cannes 2014: Karlie Kloss at the "Grace of Monaco" premiere

Imagen
Lots of models attend the Cannes festival every year. That's why I thought I could show you their looks on the red carpet. They usually wear everything better than the celebs (because that's their job, obviously), so here I am to show you some pictures while I share my opinion about the outfits. First I want to show you what Karlie Kloss wore at the "Grace of Monaco" premiere. She wore a Valentino dress that my lovely Vanessa Axente wore on the runway. They're both very tall, and that's why they look so stunning while wearing this kind of gown. However, there was another version of this dress that would have been better for this kind of event. There was another dress that was almost the same, but a little bit shorter. Since this wasn't a night event, I think that would have been a better choice for Karlie. Also, she has amazing legs and she should show them ;) The make-up and the hair were very nice, so I won't change that. Ru

Cruise 2015: Dior & Chanel

Imagen
It's Cruise time! And I enjoy this time a lot. I'm not a big fan of Pre-fall collections, but the Cruise ones are growing on me. Some designers, like Karl, seem to put more effort on this show than they do on the others (RTW, HC, ...). It's interesting, but it makes sense. To make a long story short: it's all about the money. We've seen a couple of Cruise shows so far, like Dior and Chanel, and I enjoyed both. -Dior: I always defend Raf's work, but I won't do it this time. There's no need for me to do it since the collectio
