I was looking through my bookmarks to see which ones I could get rid off when I saw the one for this editorial. I saved it months ago to feature it on the blog. Needless to say I forgot about it. Mathilde is stronger on print that she is on the runway (measurement issues), and this ed is one of my favourites from her portofolio. Lo guardé hace meses para compartirlo en el blog, y sobra decir que luego me olvidé de el. Mathilde brilla más en fotografía de lo que brilla en pasarela (cosas de medidas), y este edito es uno de mis favoritos de todos los que ha hecho.

I'm a curious person, in general. And when it comes to fashion, I'm super curious all the time. Ever since I started to follow this world (almost 10 years ago), I craved knowing more about it. Bella's instagram Bodyshaming is something that has always been a part of my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been judged because of how skinny I am. It still happens but, I couldn't care less now. It still hurts to talk about it, though. However, we have to talk about it to show how not ok it is to do that. Whether it is mocking someone who's overweight or someone who's underweight, it is not ok. When it was announced that Bella was Nike's new spokesmodel, a lot of people went crazy. They thought she couldn't be the face of this brand because she doesn't look athletic. Fair enough, I may agree with them on that one but I don't look athletic either and I buy Nike stuff, so...she kind of represents me, right? The other complaint was that she's too skinny. In order to succeed in the fashion industry, you need a few things. And one of those is support. When it is Anna Wintour/US Vogue supporting you, things are way easier. And Maria Grazia has a crazy amount of support, that she deserves because of her talent. This editorial is another bit of support that she's getting directly from Wintour, but it is also a great editorial, so I had to show it to you.
