Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017: Review #2

Imagen
Milan is over, Paris started yesterday and here I am eating a muffin. If I were a model, people would say that I starve myself because I lost weight in the last couple of weeks. So I eat muffins. Any tips? But, going back to Milan I want to focus my attention on two shows. Ferragamo is one of my favourites, but I was slightly concerned about the changes that were going to happen on the brand. Happily, the collection was as gorgeous as usual. However, the disappointment came from another direction. I've raved about Philosophy in the last couple of seasons, because those collections were an absolute dream. This one didn't impress me as much as I want it to impress me. Sad times. Ferragam

Fall lingerie flat lay #flirtyfallflatlay

I'm taking a quick break from fashion week to do something I've never done before: a flat lay. I know, what kind of blogger am I? ;) The people from "Adore me" reached out to me to see whether I was interested on doing this kind of post. I thought it would be fun, so here we are doing it today. I just want to let you know that they're not paying me to do this and that all these items are my own. I dislike this kind of disclaimer, but it's something I have to do. So, the idea behind this is showing you a couple of looks that I wear during fall/autumn. Because during the summer, it's easy to just pick a nice bra that will be shown a little bit. However, during the fall and winter, we may feel like making that kind of effort is not neccessary. But something that both lingerie and make-up can do is give you that extra confidence by making you feel prettier.  For this first look I have a really nice kind of jumper/blouse, that has some see throug

Milano Milano! Oh gorgeous Milano! One of my favourite cities when it comes to fashion. I haven't been paying attention to the shows because, you know, reasons. But I did check to see whether there was something worth mentioning. Prada was amazing and so was Etro. The rest were...ok. I'll let you judge the rest of the collections. ¡Milano Milano! ¡Bella Milano! -Alberta Ferretti:   -Max Mara:   -Fendi:   -Sportmax:   - Prada :   -Giorgio Armani:   -Etro:   -Versace:

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017: Review

Imagen
London Fashion week is one of the reasons why my body aches so much right now. Always intense.  The whole "see now, buy now" still annoys me, because it just makes it so much harder to explain things to people. So I'm just going to show you the shows, and I'll let you decide whether you like them or not. Intenso. Todo el tema del "see now, buy now" me sigue molestando, porque hace más complicado el explicar cosas a la gente. Así que os dejo los desfiles y vosotros podéis decidir si os gustan o no.   - Topshop:   -Burberry: More on this channel:   https://www.youtube.com/user/BritishFashionTV

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017: Review #2

Fashion week (so far) has made me very sad. It's because of that dark side of this industry that I try not to think about. Models are humans, but people seem to forget that. It's sad to see so many girls being dropped and losing jobs just so people who hasn't work enough gets them. So unfair, and it's only getting worse. Oh well, at least we got some nice collections to cheer me up a little. My favourites of this second bunch are Proenza, Boss and Narciso Rodríguez. Yours? And LFW starts today!! Excited? I am.

When I decided to do just two reviews during fashion week, I wasn't sure about it. I felt like I was letting you guys down, that you'll think I'm just being lazy, ...but it is the best decision I've made in a while. It's not that I don't have time to write about the shows...I barely have time to watch them. It should be better during the European fashion weeks, though.  Anyway, I've selected 9 collections that I want to talk about. Three of them (Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger and Thakoon) are part of the "see now, buy now" trend, so they actually belong to the FW collections. But they've been presented during this week, so I'll talk about them anyway.

New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017: Schedule

Fashion week time again! I feel like it's been ages since the last time we had all these fashion shows everyday. But it's only been 6 months. Missed it? Today, I'm sharing with you the NYFW schedule, so you can write it down or print it. You don't want to miss your favourite shows. This time, I'm doing things differently on the blog. As you may know, I have to work. And apart from real work, I have a blog and a youtube channel too. Plus some studying that needs to be done daily. And the day still only has 24 hours =/ So, for the main 3 fashion weeks, I'll do 2 reviews and 1 for LFW. After that I'll do a beauty post with my favourite beauty looks and a streetstyle one, as always. If you want to know more about which shows I'm loving, follow me on IG (ana_bababoom). I'll post pictures from shows I like everyday. And I'll try to take some cool pictures during LFW. I hope you enjoy this fashion month! http://newyorkfashionweeklive.com/sc

Fall/Winter 16.17 campaigns: Calvin Klein Global Campaign

Imagen
As I said already, I wanted to finish all the campaign talk before the shows. Less confussing this way. Finishing with my post about CK and its campaigns is some kind of tradition already.  They have a global campaign again with a huge cast. However, I'll only show you some pictures, so you get the idea. This kind of campaign is working really well for them but, how do you like this concept? Let me know.

"Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue" documentary (BBC 2)

We finally have a date for the release of this documentary about British Vogue that will be shown on BBC 2. We only have 6 more days left, people. It will air the 8th of September. I was very happy when I heard about this documentary. I love this kind of thing, since it really allows us to see more behind the scenes footage and that's what help us understand the fashion world completely. In 2009, the most hyped fashion documentary was released. I'm talking about "The September Issue". It's a must seen, if you love fashion. This won't be exactly the same, since it won't be just focused on one specific issue. But I'm dying to watch it. Me a
