Josephine Skriver for Vogue Brazil May '17, by Giampaolo Sgura

Welcome to another episode of Ana forgest about everything while watching cricket. Though, it was supposed to start raining an hour ago, and I was supposed to write an hour ago. Blame Wales and their weather ;) Anyway, at least I know what I am talking about. Because yesterday, my fashion heart went crazy when I saw Josephine's cover for Vogue Brazil. Her second Vogue cover, and miles better than the first one. They produced two more covers with Sara Sampaio and Stella Maxwell, which are rubbish. Even more rubbish if you compare them to Jojo's. A couple of weeks ago, Josephine tricked her followers by posting a picture of her with short hair. I could tell it wasn't her hair for many reasons, but I was still curious to see what she got the wig on for. Now I couldn't be happier with the result and I really look forward to seeing the whole editorial. BTS from Jojo's social media Bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio de a Ana se le olvida que

Glass Magazine S/S 2017 : The Goddess Issue with Toni Garrn

I'm back with another editorial. I wish I could give you something more original, but I'm out of ideas. I'll try to do some brainstorming this weekend, and I wil hopefully get some good ideas. Checking magazines often is part of the job, so I'm usually quite aware of who's getting them. Toni didn't really get any big covers lately, but this month she already got 2: Glass and Harper's Bazaar Spain. Her HB spread is lovely and she looks incredible. My friend Verónica (  http://justkarliekloss.tumblr.com/  She's a person, not a website...I promise!) suggested I could share it with you on the blog, but I already thought about sharing this Glass editorial and I thought it would be too much Toni. Though, I don't think there is such thing as too much Toni. For the SS 17 season, the magazine's theme is "Goddesses". That explains why they picked Toni, and if that doesn't feel like enough of a reason for you, look at her legs.

Maartje Verhoef for Vogue Australia May '17

Never leave things for the last minute, NEVER. I did that on Monday. Well, my plan was to write Monday's post on Sunday, but then I got back home late and had some things to do and couldn't write. Also, during that Sunday evening I was informed that all my plans for Monday had changed, which meant I didn't have time to write this post in the morning. And then, by 9 pm I was so tired, I couldn't even think. Adulting is ridiculously boring. But, here we are on Wednesday morning. 7.34 to be precise and I have already worked for a whole hour. Though I have an exciting lunch "date" with friends so...I guess it's worth it. Anyway, the post. God, I love Maartje! And as I always say, she keeps improving as a model. However, I don't only like this ed because of her skills, I do mainly because of the style of editorial it is. I love this kind of minimal, casual looking styling. You only need a gorgeous and talented model like her to make it work.

Streetstyle: Karlie Kloss

Saturday...it's been a long week! That's why I wanted to do a lighter post today for both our sake's. And yesterday, I saw these pictures of Karlie Kloss and fell in love with her outfit. Karlie and I have very different styles, so I may like something on her while I think that I'll never wear that. In this case, I love what she's wearing, and I can totally see myself wearing the same outfit. It really is a simple look, but perfect for this time of the year. All of sudden you're sweating, and the next minute you're freezing.  The only thing that I would change is the length of the trousers, since I feel like that shorter cut doesn't go well with ankle boots. It makes your legs look slightly shorter, which obviously isn't a concern for Karlie since her legs are like 2 meters long ;)  But I do like how tight the bottom part of the look is, while the top part is oversize. Nice way to play with volumes.  The bright lip combined with a s

Maria Sharapova for Vanity Fair Spain & US Vogue

Today I woke up excited about opening the front door and getting the newspaper. I always like reading the news, but this time there was something else in there: The Times Magazine supplement. Note: I'm writing this on Saturday. I normally enjoy the weekend supplements a lot, mainly the fashion one. But this time my whole focus was on this one because Maria Sharapova was on the cover. And that is one of the many covers and interviews I've seen from her lately. Her comeback is approaching, and you know, you have to make sure everyone knows. Anyone who knows me just a little knows Maria is my idol. I've been following her career for 11 years, with all its ups and downs. I do believe I am the way I am right now for many differents reasons, one of them being her. She was a great influence for me in my teenage years and taught me that not only could I dream big, I had to do it.  I don't believe in celebrities having to control their every move just so they

"Belles de Nina", Frida Gustavsson & Jac Jagaciak

Picture me leaving a cricket match on Friday. I walk past a bus stop and I see this ad on it. I just loved it because Frida and Jac are two of my favourites, and they have been for a while. So...when I saw that this ad was on pretty much every bus stop in London, the fangirl inside of me died of happiness.  For this campaign, the hashtag #strongertogether was used when it came out. It talks about friendship and that's why they couldn't pick two better models for it. Frida and Jac have been best friends for years, and they even have a ship name: Frigaciak. Shooting this campaign probably didn't feel like work to them, and that shows on how genuine their expressions are. I am obsessed with perfumes, but I don't personally like Nina Ricci's perfumes. It's really odd, and I still haven't smelled Luna. I need to do it, for Jac 😏 Imaginadme saliendo del cricket el viernes, pasando por una parada de bus y viendo esta campaña ahí. Me

Topshop Summer '17: Luna Bijl by Giampaolo Sgura

I was thinking about writing this post a week ago, while I was sunbathing and getting the loveliest tan of my life. Honestly, it's very subtle (and healthy, because I apply SPF every 10 minutes) but so gorgeous. I can't stop staring at my arms and face. But this weekend hasn't been as good weather wise, which I guess it's alright since it's only April. However, brands want us to buy summer clothes already. and Topshop is doing a great job with this campaign. It definetely makes me want to go to a tropical island...or to just go to the park where I'll read while sipping my Iced Caramel Macchiato. Both options work.  The campaign's star is Luna Bijl, who has had a terrific couple of months. Scoring two covers for Vogue Paris will do that to your career. But, I actually got bored of her quite quickly. She's undeniably beautiful but...that's it, she doesn't bring anything exciting for me. That's probably why I was so surprise whe
