"Dior and I" documentary

Imagen
In one of my skype conversations with my father, he told me to be careful because he reads my blog now. Well, hello there, father! I'm going to talk about you today. Well, sort of. In another one of these conversations, he told me about a Dior documentary he watched on the tv. He's obviously not used to watching runway shows like I do, and certain things, such as the set, fascinated him. It was then when I realised I never watched that documentary myself, even though I really wanted to. So I went online and watched it. It's now one of my favourite fashion documentaries ever!! It helps us understand how a collection can be created, how many people work on it, ... Also, since Raf left Dior last week, I wanted to dedicate him a post. I loved his work for Dior, even though most people didn't. I'll miss him. My favourite parts were when they talked about money and budgets (really interesting), when we saw the disagreements they had (I'm glad they didn&#

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2015: Musical guests & Info about the show

Imagen
It's that time of the year again! The VSFS is almost here. It'll be filmed in two weeks, and I wanted to update you with the latest news. You may already know all of this, but I'm sharing it just in case. It'll be filmed in New York, the 10th of November. It'll air the 8th of December. This post should have gone up a couple of days ago, but I was waiting for the FB. We don't have an official announcement yet, so I'll just talk about it another day. I discovered who was wearing it almost 2 weeks ago, but I have to keep my mouth shut. It is a torture. I'll try to write more posts before the show, like I did last year when I talked about the cast. You guys seemed to like those "Who's walking the VSFS show?" posts last year, so I'll do the same. But, of course, I need to get official confirmations before I say anything. Stay tuned for that. Today I'm going to talk about the music guests and some info about the show. ¡El VSF

Romee Strijd for Porter Magazine #11

Imagen
Ph: Chris Colls Several months ago, I was told Romee was going to do a shoot for Porter. That made me happy, since I usually like their eds. However, I've only ever bought it once, and it wasn't for me. But this issue is a must. The cover, with Marion Cotillard, is stunning and so is the whole issue. I also really like their articles. But the main reason why I love this issue, and the reason of this post, is Romee's editorial. It belongs to the beauty section for a reason. Pretty obvious reason, actually. And it has to be my favourite ed out of all the eds she's ever done. I just love how naturally pretty she looks. The mood of the ed is so laid back, but with a bit of sexy. You know, she's an angel, so she can't help it ;) How do you like this ed? Let me know. Hace varios meses me contaron que Romee iba a hacer una sesión de fotos para Porter. Eso me alegró mucho porque me suelen gustar sus editoriales. Sin embarg

Elle Spain October 2015: Constance Jablonski by Derek Kettela

Imagen
Ph: Derek Kettela Oh my Constance! Isn't she beautiful? I saw her when she was in London for fashion week and fell even more in love with her. She's just ridiculously flawless. And this cover and editorial proved that. You don't really need to do much to make her look pretty, and the people from Elle Spain noticed. Simple stylism, simple make-up, ...simple, yet gorgeous editorial. Love it! "La pócima mágica" // "The magic potion" ¡Oh Constance mia! ¡Me encanta!

Burberry "Kisses" lip gloss: review & swatches

Imagen
A couple of months ago, I talked about Kendall Jenner's lipstick from the Estée Lauder collection. When I did it, I also wanted to talk about its campaign, since that feels like the thing to do in my blog. I'm not the kind of blogger who posts swatches and things like that. I don't have the talent. However, even though it doesn't have a proper campaign, I still wanted to talk about this gloss that I'm obsessed with. To be honest, I've never tried anything from Burberry's beauty line. It's fairly popular in the UK, but I don't think people really know about it in other countries. And that needs to change. This lip gloss, from their "Kisses" collection is amazing. I used to be really intro lip glosses when I first started to wear make-up. Now, however, I'm more into lipsticks. So, when I tried this, I was kind of shocked to see my lips looking so full and glossy. And it kind of brought back nice memories, which made me smile. Ok

Jennifer Lawrence's style + Hunger Games review

Imagen
Mockingjay Part 1 premiere, London The final movie from the "Hunger Games" trilogy (there are 4 movies, though) is about to be released, and I thought it was a good time to talk about the star of the franchise. I'm planning on going to the London premiere. If any of you are going to be around as well, let me know. That's why I thought it would be interesting to analyze Jennifer's looks for the 3 previous premieres that took place in the UK. I thought she wore Dior for all those occasions, since she has a contract with the brand. Not only is she the face of their accessories ads, but she's also the face of their beauty campaign. I bet you've seen her Dior Addict ad everywhere. You know, #shinedontbeshy But, actually, she wore Ralph Lauren for the first premiere. La última película de la trilogía de los "Juegos del hambre" (en realidad son 4 películas) está a punto de ser estrenada, y me parece que es el momento de hablar de la e

Gemma Ward for Russh Magazine August/September 2015

Imagen
Gemma is back! But she isn't doing much, is she? I get that she's focusing on her family, which is fantastic. But the fans always want more. What are you doing to us, Gems? Oh well, at least we get nice editorials from time to time. I usually like these dreamy spreads Russh does. You only need a natural beauty, and a nice background.  It's insanely simple, but I like simple sometimes. I could stare at these pictures for hours. Lovely!
