If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I adore Julia Bergshoeff's beauty. Everyone calls her "baby Daria W.", so it makes sense that I adore Daria's beauty as well. I discovered Daria back in 2008 and fell in love with her look immediately. However, I feel like she's aged badly in the last couple of years. She's still gorgeous, though. And she used to be Meisel's muse, before something happened and they stopped working together. She got like 4 or 5 VI covers, all of them equally beautiful. But this one (and its ed) is my favourite. This is the best modeling job Gemma has done since her comeback. Congratulations to both Elle and Georges for producing something like this. Also, I read an article the other day about wearing dark lips during the summer. I don't know about you, but I've been doing it for a while. I don't really believe in winter colours vs summer colours. I just pick whatever colour inspired me that day. But I thought I could show you two looks with vampy lips, that may inspire you. Today, I was supposed to talk about make-up. Do I feel like talking about that? No, I feel like crying myself to sleep, just to see if this nightmare is gone by the time I wake up again. All of us who love the UK and its citizens, are sad today. Sad because this country (which is actually formed by 4 beautiful countries) is now broken. And it's only going to get worse. I feel sorry for all the people that I love and that told me how depressed and worried about the future they are.  It's "easy" for me, I'm still part of the amazing EU. I can go back to Spain, I can go to another country that it's still part of the EU. But my British mates can't say that. They fear for themselves and their families, they fear because their future changed overnight. Literally. And I'll be staying next to them to fight for a better future for all of us. Last week, I was on desperate mood. I didn't know what to talk about on my blog, so I asked my friends to see if they wanted me to talk about something in particular. On Saturday, I talked about an YSL perfume. Today, I want to talk about their clothing line. As you may know, Hedi left a couple of months ago and Vaccarello is the new designer for the brand. There have been so many changes in fashion lately, it's actually confusing. Don't you agree? With Vaccarello, I have mixed feelings. I don't like what he does for his own brand, but I did like his work for Versus. It makes me sad to see him leaving that brand, and I don't think he's the right person for YSL. He'll probably call it SLP as well, and he will just follow Hedi's path.  What have they done to create more hype? They've released teasers. The all feature new faces and they'll be released today on social media. So stay tuned for that. Jokes aside, I've said this before but, perfumes are something I am very passionate about. Trying new ones is an experience for me that I enjoy more than I can enjoy trying clothes on or trying new make-up products. This new one is called "Mon Paris", and it's by Yves Saint Laurent. You may know already that there have been more perfumes in this "Paris" line, all by YSL. The scent is floral and I personally love it, but there's nothing more personal than a scent. So I recommend you to go and try it, so you can see if you love it as well. This perfume is exclusive to Selfridge's here in the UK. The campaign is very eye-catching and it features model Crista Cober and actor Jérémie Laheurte. The video was directed by Clément Durou and Pierre Dupaquier. I have mentioned Alicia in the past. And I always say that there's a fun story behind how I became her fan.
