FW 14.15 campaigns: La Perla & Salvatore Ferragamo

Imagen
La Perla FW 14.15: Daria Strokous, Mariacarla Boscono & Liu Wen by Mert & Marcus La Perla is doing the same mistakes again. Last season they used models who are not made for lingerie, and this season they made the same mistake. I love Daria, but she isn't particularly sexy. She looks good, though. But I don't see her walking for VS or doing this kind of ad. Liu isn't sexy either. At least that's my opinion. Mariacarla is very sexy. She's the only one in this campaign that looks good. Sexy and powerful. Mari

FW 14.15 campaigns: Prada & Prada Menswear

Prada FW 14.15: Mica Arganaraz & Karl Kolbitz by Steven Meisel What a disappointing campaign! It's not like I loved the collection and I was waiting for a super campaign...but this is just too bad. So, we finally have an OG campaign for Prada. And they decide to give that campaign to this Mica girl who doesn't seem to know how to pose. Yeah, it doesn't sound too good. I don't know if they told her to tilt her head like that in EVERY shot, but it looks so bad. It's like a catalogue. No wait, a catalogue model has more poses than Mica does in this campaign.  And, to be honest, the ads' concept is quite good, but the execution is terrible. Si, no suena

FW 14.15 campaigns: Moschino & Burberry Prorsum

Moschino FW 14.15: Linda Evangelista, Raquel Zimmermann, Stella Tennant, Carolyn Murphy, Saskia de Brauw & Karen Elson by Steven Meisel I think we can all agree the collection was a joke. That's why this campaign surprised us all. First of all, look at that cast. You can like the models or not, but they're all big models. And Meisel shot it, which was surprising too. I bet they spent a lot of money xD The pictures are ok, even if the clothes are hideous. I love Carolyn's shot the best. I expected Lindseys and Caras...so this is amazing.

FW 14.15 campaigns: Versace & B. Balenciaga Fragance

Last season was a really good one for Anna, and it looks like the FW one is going to be even better. Am I going to complain? ¿Me quejo? En absoluto ;) Versace FW 14.15: Anna Ewers & Stella Tennant by Mert & Marcus She opened and closed the Versace show in Milan. And I'm really glad she also got the campaign, because nobody fits the collection like she does. But the best thing about this campaign is how amazing it looks. Best Versace campaign in decades!!! I know the concept isn't super original, but it looks too good to complain. I even like Stella, but because she looks more like Erin O'Connor than herself. Great campaign.

Vogue Japan July 2014: Anna Maria Jagodzinka by Andrea Sjodin

I've been waiting for Anna's comeback for so long...you can't even imagine. She was everywhere. Most designers loved her, most photographers loved her,...she even had Meisel's love. But, she dissapeared all of a sudden. She did that before, but it was because she wanted to finish her studies. This time I have no idea why she dissapeared. It wasn't that she didn't book as many shows, or she wasn't on covers anymore,...she went from being everywhere to doing nothing. I heard there were problems with her agency or something like that, and I hope they are ok right now. It really looks like she's making an effort to come back. We have this ed for Vogue, which it isn't anything too special but...it's VOGUE. And she's going to events, and she created an instagram account. It may sound silly, but it is important for her to build a relationship with her clients again. When it becomes dark He estado esperando el

Dior Addict SS 14 perfume campaign: The film (with Sasha Luss)

Imagen
I already talked about this campaign (  http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2014/04/dior-addict-ss-14-fluid-stick-perfume.html  ), and I said I'll show you the film once it was out. Well it's already out, and I'm afraid it's as disappointing as the print campaign. I have nothing against Alice in Wonderland, but this is Dior Addict. The word "addict" is pretty self-explanatory, isn't it? The original ads were amazing because they showed that passion, that addiction. They did it in a sexual way, and it doesn't always have to be like that, but it fits the concept of the campaign. Where is the addiction in this film? I don't know. Is she addicted to chasing rabbits? I love Sasha, and that whole "WonDiorland" thing is really cool. BUT it's not the right concept for this campaign. I'll show you the old ads too, so you can compare them. 2002 2014 Ya os he hablado de esta campaña (  http://putonachicface.blogs

Vanity Fair Italia June: GOL!

Imagen
Today starts the Football World Cup, and I wanted to show you this editorial from an Italian magazine. We've seen many editorials trying to promote the World Cup, and most of them were horrible. I love this one because it has no famous football players, it has models. It's quirky and cool. I love Kristina, since she's gorgeous. And her smile is the cutest. Also, since this is an Italian magazine, they used Italian and Brazilian clothes (the World Cup takes place in Brazil). But, the socks Kristina is wearing are part of the German uniform, which is funny. I don't know if it's a mistake, but they have DFB (Deutscher Fu ß ball-Bund) written on them. Maybe they did it on purpose, who knows? Vanity Fair Italia June GOL!
