Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017: Review #2

Milan is over, Paris started yesterday and here I am eating a muffin. If I were a model, people would say that I starve myself because I lost weight in the last couple of weeks. So I eat muffins. Any tips?

But, going back to Milan I want to focus my attention on two shows. Ferragamo is one of my favourites, but I was slightly concerned about the changes that were going to happen on the brand. Happily, the collection was as gorgeous as usual.
However, the disappointment came from another direction. I've raved about Philosophy in the last couple of seasons, because those collections were an absolute dream. This one didn't impress me as much as I want it to impress me. Sad times.


Milan acabó, París empezó y yo estoy comiéndome una magdalena. Si fuera modelo, la gente diría que me mato a hambre porque he perdido peso en las últimas semanas. Así que como muffins. ¿Algún consejo en cuanto a esto?

Pero volvamos a Milán, donde quiero centrarme en dos desfiles. Ferragamo es uno de mis favoritos, pero estaba algo preocupada por los cambios que se han producido en la marca últimamente. Por suerte tuvimos final feliz, ya que la colección fue tan bonita como de costumbre.
Sin embargo, la decepción vino por otro camino. Me he deshecho en elogios hacia Philosophy en las últimas temporadas, porque sus colecciones eran de ensueño. Pero esta me ha dejado bastante fría. Triste.

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
