New York Fashion Week FW 18.19: Ralph Lauren show & Sanne Vloet's vlog

Funnily enough, the Ralph Lauren show is a "see now, buy now" show, which means it's actually a SS 2018 collection. However, it's been presented now, so it's now when I'll talk about it.

I love it, simple as that. There is something about Ralph Lauren that I love, and it's probably how simple yet incredibly flattering his designs are. He wants to make women and men look good, and that's just a great concept.
The set was very appropiate for the collection and I love the opening of the show. And I need to give credit where credit is due to all the models that walked on that runway barefoot. That's not easy, believe me. 


Lo curioso es que el desfiles de Ralph Lauren es un "see now, buy now", así que esta colección pertenece a la PV 2018. Pero ha sido ahora cuando la han presentado, así que es ahora cuando hablo de ella.

Me encanta, así de simple. Hay algo en Ralph Lauren que hace que me encante todo, y probablemente sea que sus diseños son sencillos pero muy favorecedores. Quiere hacer que hombres y mujeres luzcan bien, y eso es un gran concepto.
El set fue muy apropiado para la colección y me encantó la apertura. He de repartir mérito cuando se merecen, y en este caso es a las modelos que desfilaron descalzas. Eso no es fácil, creedme. 


Sanne Vloet's vlog

I've mentioned Sanne multiple times on my blog, but I can't remember mentioning her youtube channel. It's fairly new, but she has uploaded a lot of content already. And it's very interesting, because she really tries to show a lot of behind the scenes stuff. This latest vlog about fashion week is absolutely brilliant. Anyone interested in fashion should watch it.


Ya he mencionado a Sanne muchas veces en el blog, pero no creo haber mencionado su canal de youtube. Es relativamente nuevo, pero ya ha subido muchos vídeos. Y es muy interesante, porque se nota que intenta mostrar como funciona su trabajo. Este último blog es increíble. Cualquiera que se interese por la moda debería verlo.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason.
