Runway star of the season: Birgit Kos

Who should be the star of the season? The model that walks the most shows? The one that opens more shows than any other model? ...maybe, but for me it is the model that makes the biggest impact on the people watching the shows.

The model than impressed me, personally, the most was Birgit Kos. And that led to me doing some research about her. Her face looked familiar, and I felt like she had been doing top shows for seasons. But actually, that wasn't true. I think I remembered her from her SS 16 Giorgio Armani campaign.

She also caught my eye because of her campaigns for Miu Miu, where she outshined the other models.

For the SS 17 season she only did one show: Miu Miu, which she opened. And she carried that momentum to this FW 17.18 season. She skipped both NY and London, but started with a bang closing the Fendi show. I can see her getting the campaign.

¿Quién debería ser la estrella de la temporada? ¿La modelo que hace más desfiles? ¿La que abre más desfiles que los demás? ...quizás, pero para mi es la modelo que consigue impactar más a la gente que ve los desfiles.

La que me ha impresionado a mi, personalmente, es Birgit Kos. Y eso me llevó a investigar su carrera. Su cara me resultaba familiar, por lo que deduje que llevaba haciendo desfiles top varias temporadas. Pero no era así, así que creo que la recuerdo por su campaña de PV 16 de Giorgio Armani. También me llamó la atención con sus campañas para Miu Miu, donde brilla más que el resto.

Durante la temporada PV 17 solo hizo un desfile: Miu Miu, el cual abrió. Y siguió con ese buen momento en la temporada OI 17.18. Se saltó tanto NY como Londres, pero empezó a lo grande cerrando Fendi. La puedo imaginar en esa campaña totalmente.

Finally, it was time for Paris, where she only walked major shows: Saint Laurent, Lavin, Chloé (O), H&M, Balmain, Isabel Marant, Redemption (O), Mugler (C), Elie Saab, Sonia Rykiel, Céline, Stella McCartney, Hermès (C), Fenty x Puma, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Miu Miu. 

Finalmente, tocó ir a París, donde solo hizo desfiles top: Saint Laurent, Lavin, Chloé (O), H&M, Balmain, Isabel Marant, Redemption (O), Mugler (C), Elie Saab, Sonia Rykiel, Céline, Stella McCartney, Hermès (C), Fenty x Puma, Alexander McQueen, Chanel y Miu Miu.

The fact that she isn't a teenager makes her shine more than many new faces, as does her haircut. She's got tons of personality and her print work is stellar. A star in the making.

El hecho de que no sea una adolescente hace que destaque sobre el resto de new faces, y su peinado tiene el mismo efecto. Tiene muchísima personalidad y su trabajo en fotografía es estelar. Ha nacido una estrella.
