Blanca Padilla for US Elle May 2018


When you follow a model for years, many things happen. One of them is the fact that she's likely to improve as a model, so your favourite picture of her may change often. 
I honestly don't know whether I have a favourite picture of Blanca or not, but I probably do. Well, now I definetely do, but it's a new one.

On this editorial for the American edition of Elle, Blanca has created what I call an almost perfect picture. Blanca and the entire team, of course. From the hair, to the make-up, to the styling, to the photography, ...everything works. 
Hans has a very recognizable style, and it is one that I love. Her picture wearing the yellow Marc Jacobs jumper is so iconic. Just look at every detail and try to find a flaw...I dare you!

The rest of the editorial is good as well, but that picture...that picture is my new favourite picture of her. And I doubt it'll be overtaken by another one anytime soon.

Cuando sigues a una modelo durante años, suceden muchas cosas. Una de ellas es que es probable que mejore como modelo poco a poco, así que irá creando fotos que se convierten en tus favoritas.
Siendo sincera, no se si tenía una foto favorita de Blanca, pero probablemente la tenía. Bueno, ahora la tengo seguro, pero es una nueva.

En este editorial para la edición americana de Elle, Blancs ha creado lo que yo llamo la imagen casi perfecta. Blanca y el equipo que trabajó con ella, claro. Desde el pelo hasta el maquillaje, pasando por el estilismo y la fotografía, ...todo funciona.
Hans tiene un estilo muy reconocible, y en mi caso es un estilo que adoro. La foto en que lleva puesto el jersey amarillo de Marc Jacobs es icónica. Mirad cada detalle y a ver si encontráis algo que no os guste...¡os reto a encontrar un defecto!

El resto del editorial es genial, pero esa foto....esa foto es mi nueva foto favorita de Blanca. Y dudo que otra le quite el puesto pronto.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
