Kaia Gerber for I-D Summer 2018


Last week, I talked about the "Daisy Love" campaign by Marc Jacobs, and Kaia was one of the models on that ad. I really like her representing that fragance, because it is really age appropiate and she looks comfortable. But I really like her on this editorial too, and it is quite different.

I guess it makes sense because Kaia should easily fit on the "cool kids" group. And that's what this cover and editorial (and magazine) is all about. The cover is quite clever, and they didn't make her wink.

La semana pasada hable de la campaña de "Daisy Love" de Marc Jacobs, en la que sale Kaia. Me gusta que represente esa fragancia, porque es algo apropiado para su edad y se la ve cómoda. Pero también me gusta este editorial, y es bastante diferente.

Supongo que tiene sentido, ya que Kaia debería encajar perfectamente en el grupo de "cool kids". Y de eso van esta portada y edito (y revista). La pose de portada es inteligente, y no hicieron que guiñase.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
