Romee Strijd for Exit Magazine SS 18


I believe we have had this conversation before, but I love Romee's high fashion work. And that kind of makes it sound like I don't like her more commercial work, but that isn't what I mean.

When I first fell in love with her, I saw her walking for Prada or Louis Vuitton, and it was her special beauty that I loved. I could already tell she was going to be versatile, but because of how special her beauty is, I want her to do things that showcase that beauty. 

Long story short, this editorial for Exit Magazine made me very happy.

Creo que ya hemos tenido esta conversación, pero me encanta que Romee haga cosas más high fashion. Y eso hace que suene a que no aprecio su trabajo más comercial, lo cual no es cierto.

Cuando me enamoré por completo de ella, la veía desfilando para Prada o Louis Vuitton, y fue su belleza especial la que enamoró. Ya veía que podía ser muy versátil, pero debido a que su belleza no es como la del resto, quería verla haciendo trabajos que le saquen partido.

Por resumir, este editorial para Exit Magazine me hizo muy feliz.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason.
