FW 14.15 campaigns: Chanel, Balmain & Mulberry

Did you like when I said "It's Cara time"? Because this time is even better. It's Cara & Binx time. And the worst thing is that Binx is so bad, that she makes Cara look like a supermodel. These cool kids annoy me so much.
Cara got other campaigns too, like Topshop, but these 3 are the more HF, so I'm just talking about them. I already talked about her Burberry campaign ( http://putonachicface.blogspot.com/2014/06/fw-1415-campaigns-moschino-burberry.html ).




¿Os gustaba cuando decía "Toca hablar de Cara"? Porque esta vez es aún mejor. Toca hablar de Cara y Binx. Y lo peor es que Binx es tan mala, que hace que Cara parezca una supermodelo. Estas chicas super guays me molestan de una manera.
Cara ha conseguido más campañas, como Topshop, pero estas 3 son las más HF, así que hablo de ellas. Ya hablé de su campaña para Burberry ( http://putonachicface.blogspot.com/2014/06/fw-1415-campaigns-moschino-burberry.html ).




Chanel FW 14.15: Cara Delevingne & Binx by Karl Lagerfeld


The collection was so awful, that I didn't expect a good campaign. The pictures are not that bad but, why are they in a boxing club? Why aren't they in the supermarket they created for the runway show? I don't understand. I don't see the conection between these clothes and boxing. 
Cara looks ok, because I told you already that Binx makes her look like a top from the 90's. But Cara's tattoos annoy me a lot in this ad. 

So, the photo with the mirror effect is quite nice. We've seen that before (Blake Lively's ad for Chanel a couple of seasons ago), but it's ok. The problem is that we can see Cara's tattoos and they are awful. 
Freja used to be on every Chanel campaign, and she has tattoos too. And I have nothing against people with tattoos. Most of my friends have at least one, but Cara's are so ugly and annoying. I hate them.







La colección fue tan fea que no esperaba una buena campaña. Las fotos no son tan malas pero, ¿por qué están en un club de boxeo? ¿Por qué no están en el supermercado que crearon para el desfile? No veo la relación entre la ropa y el boxeo.
Cara no está mal, pero ya os dije que es que Binx la hace parecer una top de los 90. Pero son los tatuajes de Cara los que me molestan mucho.
Hablemos de la foto con el efecto del espejo, que es bastante bonita. Ya hemos visto fotos así antes (las campañas de Blake Lively para Chanel de hace un par de temporadas), pero no pasa nada. El problema es que podemos ver los tatuajes de Cara, que son horribles. 
Freja salía en todas las campañas de Chanel, y también tiene tatuajes. Y yo no tengo nada en contra de la gente con tatuajes. De hecho, la mayoría de mis amigos tienen al menos uno. Pero los de Cara son tan horribles que me molesta verlos. Los odio.

Terrible! This looks so bad.
Cara, Binx and Jourdan are doing nothing for me. And this Issa girl scares me. She could be in one of those horror movies the Japanese do. And I don't watch them for a reason. Too scary.
It's a mess.

Cara, Binx y Jourdan no me trasmiten nada. Y esta tal Issa me da miedo. Podría salir en una de esas pelis de miedo que hacen los japoneses. Y no las veo por una buena razón. Dan mucho miedo.
Es un horror.




Mulberry FW 14.15: Cara Delvingne by Tim Walker


"Cara-wise", this is the best campaign. Same concept, boring concept...but it's pretty.
The clothes are pretty, the place is pretty, Cara isn't ugly. All good.











Es la mejor campaña de todas las que ha hecho Cara. Mismo concepto, concepto aburrido...pero es bonito.
La ropa es bonita, el sitio es bonito, Cara no es fea. Todo está bien.

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason.
