London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 15.16: Review #1
Last season, I focused more on LFW. But this fashion month has been a fail, so far.
I wish I could have been able to talk more about every show, but several things happened.
Now, I'm going to write a review about the first 3 days of LFW. Tomorrow, I'll write another one talking about the rest of the shows. Then, we'll start talking about Milan.

La temporada pasada me centré más en la semana de la moda de Londres. Pero este mes de desfiles ha sido un desastre.
Ojalá hubiera podido hablar más de todo, pero mil cosas han pasado.
Ahora, voy a escribir una reseña sobre los 3 primeros días de la LFW. Mañana, escribiré otra con mi opinión sobre el resto de desfiles. Y después, nos iremos a Milán.

If I'm honest, I hate saying something is "British" or "French", because I don't really see how that can describe a collection. But at the same time, I always use it when I talk to people who know very little about fashion.
However, this time I'm going to using here. I know you know about fashion, but this is the right adjective. This collection is sooo British!!
I didn't expect this kind of collection, but it's really good. Kind of a mix between the 60's and the 70's. It has incredible colours and patterns, and the silhouettes are amazing. There is a masculine touch in some outfits, and I like how that has been done.
Si soy sincera, odio decir que algo es "británico" o "francés", porque no veo como esa palabra puede describir una colección. Pero a la vez os diré que uso mucho esas expresiones cuando hablo de moda con gente que sabe poco del tema.
Sin embargo, esta vez me toca usarlas. Se que sabéis de moda, pero este es el adjetivo adecuado. ¡¡Esta colección es taaan británica!!
No esperaba algo así, pero es muy buena. Una mezcla de los años 60 y 70. Tiene unos increíbles colores y estampados, y las siluetas son preciosas. Hay un toque masculino en algunos pases, y me encanta como se ha hecho.

Well, this is interesting. Most of the collection is very dark, but the pop of colour is very eye-catching.
A very sexy and somehow misterious collection. I didn't expect this, but I quite enjoy it. I feel like it gets better in motion, but I couldn't find a video.
Bueno, esto es interesante. La mayor parte de la colección es muy oscura, pero son los toques de color los que la hacen tan llamativa.
Colección muy sexy, y misteriosa a su manera. No me esperaba esto, pero me gusta. Siento que en movimiento debe ganar, pero no he podido encontrar un vídeo.

60's? 70's? No, this collection is all about the 80's. That was a good decade. And even if I consider myself a 90's kid, I was born in the 80's (1989, like Taylor Swift xD).
But if there's something people remember about the 80's, that's the crazy fashion trends. The music was good too ;)
This collection features some of those trends, but in a modern way. Different from previuos seasons, but very him.
¿Años 60? ¿70? No, esta colección está inspirada en los años 80. Buena década. Aunque me considere una niña de los 90, nací en los 80 (1989, como Taylor Swift xD).
Pero si hay algo que la gente recuerda de los años 80, es la moda y sus tendencias locas. La música también fue buena ;)
Esta colección tiene algunas de esas tendencias, pero hechas de una manera más moderna. Es diferente a las anteriores temporadas, pero es muy él.
-House of Holland:
One of my first memories of Edita V. is this picture of her:
This picture was taken before a House of Holland show.
Why am I talking about this? Well, because Aneta looks a lot like Edita, and she opened this show. When I saw her, I thought about this picture.
Now, let's talk about the collection, which was as fun as always. I love this brand and how quirky it is.
So colorful it makes you happy to see the clothes. I love it.

¿Por qué os hablo de esto? Bueno, porque Aneta se parece mucho a Edita, y es ella quien abrió el desfile.
Cuando la vi, pensé en esta foto.
Ahora, hablemos de la colección. que fue tan divertida como siempre. Me encanta esta marca y la personalidad que se ve en la ropa. Tan colorido que te hace feliz ver la colección. Me encanta.

Back to the 70's. This collection is a bohemian one, inspired by the hippies that were so popular during that decade. It's easy to see this on the patterns.
However, it's not my favourite collection. But I like the idea they went for.
Volvemos a los 70. Esta colección es bohemia, e inspirada en los hippies que eran populares en aquella época. Es fácil ver lo que comento en los estampados.
Sin embargo, no es mi colección favorita. Aunque me gusta la idea que han usado.

I'm not his fan, and he won't make me change my opinion with this kind of collections.
Too much going on? Probably...but I don't even know. It's one of those shows that don't make sense, and you know how I dislike that.
The colours, the patterns, the fabrics,...they all seem wrong.
No soy su fan, y no me hará cambiar de opinión con una colección como esta.
¿Demasiadas cosas a la vez? Probablemente...pero ni lo se. Es una de esas colecciones que no tienen sentido, y ya sabéis lo poco que me gusta eso.
Los colores, los estampados, los tejidos,...todo está mal.

One of my favourite brands in general, my favourite brand in London. It never disappoints.
It's an optimistic brand, like House of Holland. And that's the main reason why I like them.
This boho chic style never gets old. And I also love how some outfits looked a little bit more glamourous. Nice touch.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this collection.
Una de mis marcas favoritas en general, y mi favorita en Londres. Nunca decepciona.
Es optimista, como House of Holland. Y es por eso que me encantan.
Este estilo boho chic nunca cansa. Y me gusta que hayan añadido un toque más glamouroso en algunos pases. Buen toque.
No hay nada malo en esta colección.
-Topshop Unique:
Julia opens, Aneta closes, Cara doesn't even walk. That's lovely!!
The collection is way better than last season's, but still not good enough.
However, if there's one brand that can "copy" what other brands did, that's Topshop. Highstreet stores do that all the time. Though it looks kind of wrong when you see the clothes on the runway.

La colección es mucho mejor que la de la temporada pasada, pero aún así no es lo suficientemente buena.
Sin embargo, si hay una marca que puede "copiar" a otras marcas, esa es Topshop. Las marcas de este nivel lo hacen todo el rato. Aunque queda un poco feo cuando lo ves en la pasarela.
-Paul Smith:
Classic Paul Smith doesn't get old either. The tartan, the suits,...it's all incredibly elegant.
The best thing about the brand is that it has a personality that's easy to recognize. But it's not boring.
El estilo de Paul Smith tampoco cansa. El tartán, los trajes,...es todo tan elegante.
Lo mejor es que la marca tiene una personalidad fácil de reconocer. Pero sin ser aburrida.
