Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016: Review #2

  -Chloé:

Well, when I woke up today, I didn't expect this kind of review about Chloé's show. But, it's happening, people...I'm going to say bad things about this collection. I know, I can't believe it either.

First of all, it felt so weird to see a Chloé show on a Thursday morning! 

We've had enough sporty chic. Chloé should be boho-pretty, and this isn't pretty. 

I feel more sad than disappointed, to be honest. Such a sad show.

Bueno, pues la verdad que cuando me desperté esta mañana no esperaba escribir una reseña de este tipo sobre Chloé. Pero, está pasando, gente...voy a decir cosas negativas sobre la colección. Lo se, yo tampoco me lo puedo creer.

Lo primero de todo, decir que me sentía muy rara viendo un desfile de Chloé un jueves por la mañana. 

Y, ya hemos visto demasiado sporty chic en esta vida. Chloé debería hacer boho-bonito, y esto no es bonito.

Estoy más triste que decepcionada, la verdad. Una pena de desfile.

  -Balmain:

I had time to watch the stream and I fangirled like I haven't in a long time. Ginta, Jac, ...it's so lovely to see them back on the runway. It was also nice to see Kendall back after skipping both LFW and MFW. She's THE Balmain girl, to be honest. She makes those awful clothes look interesting, and that's not easy.

The collection itself was ok-ish. I mean, it was ugly as always. However, it wasn't as ugly as usual. So I guess that's positive. And I just really liked the cast. Even Gigi seemed to be able to walk today. Looks like apart from ranting, she had also time to practise.

Tuve tiempo de ver el stream y me puso en modo fan máximo. Ginta, Jac, ...es una pasada verlas de nuevo en la pasarela. También me alegré al ver a Kendall de vuelta, después de saltarse LFW y MFW. Es LA chica Balmain, la verdad. Le da un toque interesante a esa ropa horrible, y no es tarea sencilla esa.

La colección en si fue meh. A ver, fue fea como siempre, pero no tan fea como de costumbre. Algo es algo. Y me encanto el casting. Incluso Gigi parecía ser capaz de desfilar normal hoy. Parece que aparte de para quejarse, ha tenido tiempo para practicar.

  -Barbara Bui:

Today's winner is Barbara Bui. LOVE this collection!

The leather made me fall in love. I don't know why, but I've been into leather clothes lately.

However, what I liked the most was the shirts that were open, so we could see the bikini. I've said in the past how much I love that little touch. So incredibly sexy.

But yeah, the whole collection was sexy and amazing, not just those two things. I'm always rooting for this brand.

El ganador de hoy es Barbara Bui. ¡ADORO esta colección!

El cuero/piel me hizo enamorarme. No se la razón, pero últimamente me encanta ese tejido.

Sin embargo, lo que más me gustó fue el detalle de abrir las camisas para que se viera el bikini. Ya he dicho en el pasado lo mucho que me gusta ese toque. Es increíblemente sexy.

Pero en si, toda la colección fue sexy y maravillosa. No solo esas dos cosinas. Siempre estoy deseando que llegue este desfile.

  -Lanvin:

I've always been a huge Lanvin fan. But I feel like I haven't really been into the brand lately.
This is actually the first time in several seasons that I spend more than 10 minutes studying the collection, and I'm glad I did.
There are some outfits that are pretty similar to what we've seen in previous seasons, but I also see some new things. And the old ones are gorgeous so, who cares about them being a bit repetitive?

Siempre he sido muy fan de Lanvin. Pero siento que últimamente no le he prestado demasiada atención a la marca.
De hecho, esta es la primera vez en varias temporadas que empleo más de 10 minutos de mi tiempo en estudiar la colección. Y me alegra haberlo hecho.
Hay pases similares a lo visto en anteriores temporadas, pero también hay cosas nuevas. Y las viejas son preciosas, así que me da igual que repitan.
