New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2015: Review #8 // Livestreams LFW 12th September

  -Proenza Schouler:

 I love these guys, and I defend them no matter what they design. But I have to be honest and say that their last collection wasn't that impressive.
But this season's was way better. It's not the best they've ever done, but it's better.
It has that edgy/modern touch that a lot of people can enjoy.
















Me encantan estos chicos, y les defiendo siempre, da igual lo que diseñen. Pero tengo que ser honesta y decir que su última colección no fue tan espectacular como se esperaba.
Pero la de esta temporada es mucho mejor. No es la mejor que han hecho, pero es mejor.
Tiene un toque moderno que le puede gustar a mucha gente.


  -Ralph Lauren:

 So, the Hilfigers went to a festival. the MbMJ girls went to a rave, and the Ralph Lauren women went on a safari. Intense.
I'm really into the pop of colour they added to certain pieces.
As expected, everything was beautiful and elegant. Classic Ralph Lauren.














Pues nada, los Hilfigers se fueron a un festival, las chicas de MbMJ se fueron a una rave, y las mujeres de Ralph Lauren se han ido a un safari. Que intenso.
Me encanta el toque de color que han añadido a algunas piezas.
Como era de esperar, todo es bonito y elegante. Clásico en Ralph Lauren. 


  -Calvin Klein:

 What a beautiful collection! Great way to finish NYFW. But, where was Vanessa? =(
I'm totally in love with the colours. And the way they used the leather was great. It doesn't look thick, so it's more appropiate for spring and summer.
The silhouettes are perfect, but this is Calvin Klein so I'm not surprise.
Amazing collection. I can't wait to see the campaign. I hope Vanessa shows up there.
















¡Que preciosidad de colección! Gran manera de terminar la semana de la moda de Nueva York. Pero, ¿dónde estaba Vanessa? =(
Estoy enamorada de los colores. Y la manera en que han usado el cuero es genial también. No parece grueso, así que es apropiado para la primavera y el verano.
Las siluetas son perfectas pero esto es Calvin Klein, así que no me sorprende.
Genial colección. Que ganas de ver la campaña. Espero que ahí si este Vanessa.

Blast from the past: Vogue USA December 1992, "Grunge & glory"

I was 3 in 1992, and I couldn't care less about fashion.As a 90's kid, I know who all the supermodels are because I saw them on the tv very often. But then again, it wasn't until 2007 that I started to love fashion, so I don't really know much about fashion during the 90's. That makes me quite sad, since it was such a great moment fashion wise. However, it's hard to find scans or videos of that time. This editorial has been scanned by kelles , at TFS forum. A couple of weeks ago, I was watching tv and I found a fashion documentarie on Sky arts. The documentarie is called "In Vogue: the editor's eye". You can watch it on youtube (I'll link the video in this post) if you want to. I really recommend it because, even if it was filmed in 2012, it's something that you need to watch if you really like fashion. Lots of iconic pictures are shown in this documentarie. MET Gala 2018: Best dressed

Yesterday, it was the first Monday of May. And that can only mean one thing...the MET Gala. It was also a Bank Holiday here but it's not as important, for whatever reason. And I thought I could tell you about my favourite outfits for the night, and while I was looking at the looks, I thought I would do a little countdown.  Ayer fue el primer lunes de Mayor, y eso solo puede significar una cosa...la gala del MET.
