Put on a Chic face

Miu Miu FW 14.15: Stacy Martin by Steven Meisel I didn't expect Meisel to shoot this, and I kind of hate the brand for hiring him. You know I only like celebs doing HF things when the thing is a Miu Miu ad. I feel like they do it the right way. Now Meisel shot this celeb (I assume she's a celeb, since I have no idea who she is) for their FW campaign and...it looks bad. It's hard to explain this feeling, because I understand it's something I see in my head. And you can't see what's inside my head, which makes you lucky ;) What everyone can see is the fact that this lacks originality. What bothers me the most is the black and white thing. Miu Miu is colorful, and I want those colours back. The last thing I wanted to talk (complain) about is the casting. As I said, I don't even know who this Stacy person is, but she doesn't fit the collection. Missoni FW 14.15: Joan Smalls by Viviane Sassen I enjoyed the collection because it had an urban vibe and the outfits seemed to be made for a laid-back kind of girl/woman. This campaign, however, shows something very different. And that's why I don't like it. It looks like they tried way too hard, and it looks overdone.  Also, Joan isn't the right model for this brand. Her look is too serious. Me gustó la colección porque tenía un toque urbano y la ropa parecía estar hecha para una chica/mujer con un estilo más relajado. Sin embargo, la campaña muestra algo muy diferente. Y es por eso que no me gusta. Me parece que lo han intentado demasiado, y se nota. Aparte, Joan no es la modelo indicada para esta marca. I was going to say that after her succesful seasons, this FW one looked like a bad one for Edie. Then I saw she got 2 more ads, so now I have to add her to our group of queens. Actually, to me she's the queen of the season. Iba a haber dicho que después de sus buenas temporadas, esta parecía mala. Pero luego vi que tenía dos campañas más, así que tengo que añadirla al grupo de reinas. De hecho, para mi ella es la reina de la temporada. The worst part is that the women's and the men's photos don't look like they belong to the same campaign. But it isn't a big deal actually. No es una gran campaña, pero tampoco es mala.
