Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Dolce & Gabbana and Costume National
As an Spaniard, I'm really annoyed by the lack of fashion journalists in the country. There are people who know a lot about fashion, like myself. But most of the times they pick the wrong person to write about fashion. I'm talking about regular newspapers, not fashion related press. Really, they only need to ask someone who knows about fashion about the topic they're going to write about. They constantly make mistakes, and it really annoys me. These two campaigns are a big example. Both Blanca and Steffy are from Spain, yet Blanca is the only one people who doesn't like fashion know about. Why? Because she walked for Victoria's Secret. Before that, only fashion people like me knew who she was. After VS, tons and tons of people know her. That's good, of course. But it's also unfair. She had an amazing season in NY, Milan, Paris,... yet she doesn't get credit for it. It's very frustrating for someone like me. And now she has "fans...
