Forget them magazine: Suki Waterhouse by Alice Rosati

Imagen
So, I basically had to change my blog schedule again (not amused at all), but I took advantage of that. Yesterday, I saw that it was Suki's birthday. She turned 24 and I want to show you my favourite editorial she's done to celebrate her birthday. For most people, Suki is more celebritie than model. And they're also used to seeing her on the red carpet wearing ultra gorgeous gowns. But for me, the best Suki is grunge Suki. That style suits her so well.  In this editorial we get a touch of that style and you can see how amazing she looks.  "London be" Ph: Alice Rosati He tenido que volver a cambiar mi calendario de entradas de blog (no me hace gracia para nada), pero he usado ese inconveniente a mi favor. Ayer vi que era el cumple de Suki. Cumplió 24 años y quiero enseñaros mi editorial favorito de todos los que ha hecho para celebrar su cumpleaños. Para la mayoría de la gente, Suki es más ...

Burberry "Kisses" lip gloss: review & swatches

Imagen
A couple of months ago, I talked about Kendall Jenner's lipstick from the Estée Lauder collection. When I did it, I also wanted to talk about its campaign, since that feels like the thing to do in my blog. I'm not the kind of blogger who posts swatches and things like that. I don't have the talent. However, even though it doesn't have a proper campaign, I still wanted to talk about this gloss that I'm obsessed with. To be honest, I've never tried anything from Burberry's beauty line. It's fairly popular in the UK, but I don't think people really know about it in other countries. And that needs to change. This lip gloss, from their "Kisses" collection is amazing. I used to be really intro lip glosses when I first started to wear make-up. Now, however, I'm more into lipsticks. So, when I tried this, I was kind of shocked to see my lips looking so full and glossy. And it kind of brought back nice memories, which made me smile. Ok...

Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016: Review #3

Imagen
Hello!! I feel like I'm just making excuses every single day, but I didn't have time to watch the shows today. Mainly because I had too much free time, and I went out to enjoy this sunny day. Also, because I started writing book number 2. I still haven't finished book number 1, but when there is a brainstorm, you can't ignore it. So, let's just say a couple of things about each show, and then I'll let you see how much you like them. Loewe was similar to previous seasons. Jonathan is trying to incorporate his touch, and this new Loewe already feels legit. So he's doing a good job.  Dior was really beautiful. I adore this kind of collection, because Raf is a genius. So soft and dreamy, but very strong too. Marant was very wearable as usual. I don't like her style, but I get why it's popular. And Balenciaga was awful. Thank God Wang is no longer the designer...I didn't like any of his collections for the brand. ¡¡Hola!! Sien...

Inside Suki Waterhouse's wardobre, with UK Vogue

Suki is a model, but also an actress and an it-girl. Most people know her because she's a celebritie, therefore her personal style is a big part of her persona. She's often part of this "Best dressed" lists, and there's a good reason why. She's got a great style. I usually enjoy her choice of outfits, specially on the red carpet. Do you like her style as well? Let me know ;) I definetely felt like I needed to share this video with you. Having access to someone's closet is amazing. It's like checking your friend's clothes, to see if there's something you can borrow. There are more videos with more it-girls on Vogue's channel, so check them out =) Suki es una modelo, pero también es actriz e it-girl. ...

Vogue covers (April 2015)

Imagen
Vogue México April 2015: Catherine McNeil by James Macari Sporty chic? No thanks. These covers aren't bad, but Cat is not the right model for them. She doesn't have that sporty look. Other models like Karlie or Karmen would have been a better fit. ¿Sporty chic? No gracias. US Vogue April 2015: Serena Williams by Annie Leibovitz While it makes sense to have a tennis player on the cover of the shape issue, I can't understand why they picked Serena. And, they made her look awful. Really, she looks better when she's playing and sweating. FW 14.15 campaigns: Moschino & Burberry Prorsum

Imagen
Moschino FW 14.15: Linda Evangelista, Raquel Zimmermann, Stella Tennant, Carolyn Murphy, Saskia de Brauw & Karen Elson by Steven Meisel I think we can all agree the collection was a joke. That's why this campaign surprised us all. First of all, look at that cast. You can like the models or not, but they're all big models. And Meisel shot it, which was surprising too. I bet they spent a lot of money xD The pictures are ok, even if the clothes are hideous. I love Carolyn's shot the best. I expected Lindseys and Caras...so this is amazing.
