Put on a Chic face

Technology and I have never been great mates, which makes me want to spend the day crossing my fingers. I'm hoping this goes up when I told it too, but it may go up in 2047. Who knows? And I really liked this dress that Martha wore, so let's talk about it. I believe it is YSL, which makes me think it has to be vintage because what YSL does nowadays is far from looking like this gorgeous dress does. Last year, VS filmed a Swim special for the first time ever. The production behind the Swim catalogue is massive and they wanted us to see that. When I talked about it, I told you that I liked it. And, to be honest, I was looking forward to this year's show. But it really was too similar to last year's. You can't blame them, though. There isn't much to say about a Swim shoot. However, I took notes while I was watching it anyway, since I wanted to share my thoughts about it with you. At first, they try to make a drama with the whole waking up at 5 am. Fashion isn't very glamourous most of the time. But this shoot is closer to a holiday (for the models) than any other job. We do get to see a bit more of the models' personalities. Josephine is the cutest and Behati seems like someone I would like to hang out with. Sara is incredibly annoying (specially her voice), but that's nothing new. I was going to talk about this special the day it was released, but that was "Prada day" and, you know, I have priorities ;) Also, it felt kind of weird to be talking about swimsuits and going to the beach in February. Now, it feels more appropiate. This special is actually quite cool, since we get to see the behind the scenes of all those big VS Swim shoots. It's nice to get some interviews with the models as well, since we don't get those too often. PS: Jac is too cute. When the VSFS 2014 took place, I told you the company was trying to add fresh faces to their line-up. That's why there were so many new models with lots of potential. Well, I nailed it because they have 10 new angels now. The new line-up is not surprising, since all these new angels walked for the brand at least once. Also, most of them (except for Martha and Stella) filmed a commercial for an upcoming campaign back in February. You could already tell most of them could become an angel. I personally think that 10 angels, plus they other 5 (Adriana, Ale, Candice, Behati & Lily) is a bit too much. The angel status used to be more exclusive and special. I love some of the new angels (Jac, Romee, Kate, ...), but it's hard for me to understand how some of them managed to be angel. Both Sara and Stella are really short, and I don't think their bodies are that amazing. But obviously, that's only my opinion. So, what do you think about this new line-up? Do you have a...

I already talked about the models that are walking for VS this year. Now, I'll give you my opinion about the angels and the contracted models. ANGELS: Adriana Lima Adriana was my favourite back in 2008. But I don't really like her anymore. Some people say this is her ( and Ale's) last show and, I think it might be time for her to leave. She has a lot of presence and is very popular, but it's also boring to see her doing the same things over and over again. Too intense. Adriana era mi favorita en 2008. Ya no me gusta tanto.
