Put on a Chic face

A couple of weeks ago, Karlie Kloss visited London to promote "Good Girl", the CH fragance she's the face of. I was fairly surprised to see it still wasn't out in the UK and it made me want to go and try it. I took a look at the notes and it confused me a litte. The main notes seem to be almond and coffee, but the notes mentioned on press notes are jasmine, nard and cacao. Add lily, sandalwood and vanilla and you get your very own Good Girl. According to CH and Karlie herself, this fragance shows a woman's strenght and her duality. I think that is a beautiful concept and very modern as well. Gone are the times when women could only be soft and sensitive. A woman can be soft and tough, feminine and masculine, ...she can be whatever she wants to be. It's a very strong message and getting a feminine, strong and intelligent women like Karlie to promote it makes all the sense. The name of the fragance and their motto is also super fitting. "It...

Today, I'm back to my dear routine. And what better way to do that than talking about Taylor Hill? Taylor is the face of Carolina Herrera's "212 VIP" perfume. It's another huge contract to add to her already impressive CV, and she needs to promote it. On this cover and editorial we see her wearing different pieces from CH. However, my favourite shot is the one where she's wearing Altuzarra.  Taylor the superstar. En esta portada y en el editorial vemos que luce diferentes piezas de CH. Sin embargo, mi foto favorita es en la que va de Altuzarra. Taylor la superestrella. 

Second and final review for NYFW. It has been quite a good week, if I'm honest. I feel like I'm more into fashion than I was last season, and that makes me happy. I hope LFW doesn't kill my vibe ;)  Shows that are worth a mention are ODLR and Proenza Schouler. De la Renta because they have new designers, who I think did a great job. This felt more like the classic ODLR than Copping's ODLR ever did. And Proenza because this was their last show in NY. They're moving to Paris, which is always exciting. I adore this brand and if I could purchase all their clothes, I won't hesitate for a second. This collection was supposed to be all about NY, which is a concept that I fail to understand. But I know I liked it, so it's all good. I also really enjoyed Narciso Rodriguez's show, as usual, and Ralph Lauren's. You can argue that Ralph does the same thing over and over again, but...it's SO pretty! How can I not like it? Segunda y última reseñ...

And judging by my reaction when I saw all the outfits, the brand has changed a lot in the last couple of seasons. But it's a good change, because I've never liked a Prabal collection as much as I like this one.  It's more mature, but without losing that Prabal touch. I like it. NYFW is over, and I wanted to talk about the beauty looks and trends we saw this week. I always do a post with the trends after NY, and then I do two with my favourite looks after Milan and Paris. This time, I'm going to do something slightly different. Since the beauty trends are usually the same every season, I'm going to talk about them by showing you my favourite looks from NYFW.
