Put on a Chic face

Last year, VS filmed a Swim special for the first time ever. The production behind the Swim catalogue is massive and they wanted us to see that. When I talked about it, I told you that I liked it. And, to be honest, I was looking forward to this year's show. But it really was too similar to last year's. You can't blame them, though. There isn't much to say about a Swim shoot. However, I took notes while I was watching it anyway, since I wanted to share my thoughts about it with you. At first, they try to make a drama with the whole waking up at 5 am. Fashion isn't very glamourous most of the time. But this shoot is closer to a holiday (for the models) than any other job. We do get to see a bit more of the models' personalities. Josephine is the cutest and Behati seems like someone I would like to hang out with. Sara is incredibly annoying (specially her voice), but that's nothing new. I was going to talk about this special the day it was released, but that was "Prada day" and, you know, I have priorities ;) Also, it felt kind of weird to be talking about swimsuits and going to the beach in February. Now, it feels more appropiate. This special is actually quite cool, since we get to see the behind the scenes of all those big VS Swim shoots. It's nice to get some interviews with the models as well, since we don't get those too often. PS: Jac is too cute.
