Put on a Chic face

I don't watch much tv, but I love watching this kind of programs. What can I say? I love me some drama. I watched different editions of Germany's Next Topmodel, and I enjoyed it. I know it's very unlikely to see any of these models becoming tops, but I still find it entertaining. Last year, a new kind of program was created. The Face is not that different, but those little differences are what I enjoy the most. It looks more professional to me, and I like that. Last year I saw the american version, with Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha as mentors. I liked the season, but I didn't like the models who participated. Then I saw the british version, which was amazing. The girsl were way better and so was the price they got for their win. But the most important was how good the mentors were. There was no weak mentor as there was in the USA (hello, Coco!). Naomi is everywhere, just so you know it. However, it was Caroline Winberg who was the best mentor, ...

2012 was a great year for Anne V. (Prada campaign; covers for Numero, Vogue, Elle, etc...) and it looks like 2013 is going to be good too. I'm really happy because I think Anne is too underrated. Probably because a lot of people knew her as "girlfriend of" but she's been modelling since she was really young and has achieved great things. She got her Chanel Chance contract when she was 16, and she keeps renewing it. And, even though her runway career has not been that great, she has walked for big brands like Prada, JPG, etc...and she has featured in campaigns for Louis Vuitton, DKNY, Revlon, Chloé, Ralph Lauren, Sportmax, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, ...not bad, right? That's why I'm really happy she's not a "girlfriend of" anymore, and now that she's not, she gets something like a Prada campaign. She can be classic, but also sexy. One of the best fashion videos I've seen in a while. Perfect concept for a gorgeous collection. It's a shame they didn't use this concept for the print campaign, which ended up being quite bland. Also, I wouldn't mind if Magdalena and Anne become Prada girls, since they're the stars of the campaign, in my opinion. Uno de los mejores videos de moda que he visto en mucho tiempo.
