Put on a Chic face

Today we are talking about a perfume. Or maybe I should say we're talking about the campaign. I tried to get info about the perfume in general (scent, reason why they created a new version, ...) but I got no answers back, which is disappointing. So I can just talk about what I see, and that is my lovely Maartje scoring a perfume campaign. Maartje and Valentino are a match made in heaven. She's done multiple campaigns for them and this one really seals the deal. Perfume campaigns are a model's dream, and giving her such exposure shows how much the brand likes her.  I can't wait to smell this new perfume! Fashion can be very pretentious, and that's why sometimes I really appreciate a simple nice campaign with beatiful models. Walking into a store like H&M shouldn't be intimidating, it should be cozy and make you happy. You walk around looking at the clothes and also looking at the pictures/videos on the walls.  At the moment, they have the new summer campaign on their shops, and it just makes you want to buy everything. The models look gorgeous, the clothes have amazing colours that work really well together. And it's cheaper than pretty much all the other shops.  The film is very captivating. I have watched the last two episodes of GNTM live, and they showed it multiple times during the adverts. You can't change the channel when that's on. My only complaint is that the gorgeous portraits that they have on the stores are not on their website. I can show you the one Maartje posted on her instagram, but I wish I could show you all of them in HQ. ...

Never leave things for the last minute, NEVER. I did that on Monday. Well, my plan was to write Monday's post on Sunday, but then I got back home late and had some things to do and couldn't write. Also, during that Sunday evening I was informed that all my plans for Monday had changed, which meant I didn't have time to write this post in the morning. And then, by 9 pm I was so tired, I couldn't even think. Adulting is ridiculously boring. But, here we are on Wednesday morning. 7.34 to be precise and I have already worked for a whole hour. Though I have an exciting lunch "date" with friends so...I guess it's worth it. Anyway, the post. God, I love Maartje! And as I always say, she keeps improving as a model. However, I don't only like this ed because of her skills, I do mainly because of the style of editorial it is. I love this kind of minimal, casual looking styling. You only need a gorgeous and talented model like her to make it work. ...
