Cannes Festival '17: Irina Shayk, "Hikari" premiere

Irina is back! And of course, the drama is back as well. Because, you know, she's not allowed to be hot. Basically. As someone who comes from Spain, I've heard it all when it comes to Irina. Dating a football superstar makes you a very easy target and Spaniards do love their gossip. But then again, don't we all? Most of the time, I had to hear the annoying "well, I didn't really know her before she started dating Ronaldo, but...", and it drove me insane. You didn't know her, cool, but then stop talking about her career as if you knew about it. My patience runs out very easily when people talk about things they know nothing about in front of me. But anyways, it's not as bad as it was listening to journalists debating for hours about how it was Irina's fault that her ex wasn't scoring any goals. It can't get worst than that. Now she's with Bradley and they had a baby. Congratulations!....or not, because why congratulating...

Haute Couture FW 16.17: Beauty

My gif (Video source: Versace's yt channel) MAKE-UP :   -Alberta Ferretti: Simplest, yet most flattering look. The golden eyeshadow made it a bit more special and super lovely. - Dior: Dior is all about the bold eye make-up these days. And I love it. It's an edgy kind of eyeliner, but I find it quite flattering and not too over the top. And wearable too. Bastante ponible.   -Versace: This time, they created two looks and I love both. The blue shadow is edgy, but still suits the brand in general and this collection in particular. And do I really need to tell you AGAIN about my love for dark/vampy lips? I loved the glitter to...

Haute Couture FW 16.17: Review #1

Only two days of shows and we already have a lot to talk about. Ready for a long post? It's been a while since the last one. -Alberta Ferretti: This show wasn't on the schedule I published because it's actually a "demicouture" collection. Still gorgeous, though. Great casting too (except for Sampaio, who is way too short for HC). The dresses were all really beautiful, and other pieces (like the coats) felt very luxurious. It was a great addition to this HC "week". Gran inc...

Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2016: Review #1

-Atelier Versace: I honestly think Donatella should let someone else design for the brand. Vaccarello is doing a great job at Versus, and he could do a great job at Versace. Or someone else. Anyone but Donatella. I don't want to be mean, but it's clear that she has run out of ideas. And really, all these designs have an awful cheap and tacky vybe, and that annoys me. I guess that's why she felt the need to hire all these big names for the show...so people won't pay attention to the clothes. I mean, even I got a little distracted. It's nice to see Julia, Behati, Natasha, Rosie, etc...on the runway. Plus some of my younger faves. However, when you have all these models with strong walks, you can't pick Gigi to close the show and lead the finale. For heaven's sake! She was walking in front of Natasha! Also, was it really neccesary to give such a revealing outfit to Roos, who's 16? Really? A bit too low. And it's not the first time thi...

Models' style: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, front row Atelier Versace

Imagen
Gif made by me (Video source: mail online) During the last couture season, we saw lots of models sitting front row, instead of walking. One on them was Rosie, who is a front row pro and whose style always leaves me speechless. She was wearing Versace, of course, and looked amazing. This dress is not made for shy girls, as you can tell. And Rosie has the perfect personality and amount of confidence to wear it and look like a goddess.  It would have looked tacky on anyone else, but it looks amazing on her. She may not be the best model, but she's great at wearing different looks and making the clothes look expensive.

Haute Couture Fall/Winter 15.16: Beauty looks

Backstage at Christian Dior Haute Couture Once the shows are over, it's time to talk about the beauty looks. Lots of colour and wigs...tell me your favourite. I also wanted to tell you that I was thinking about doing a giveaway on my blog to show you how much I appreciate your support. Let me know if you want me to do it ;) Una vez que los desfiles terminan, toca hablar de los looks de belleza. Decidme si queréis que lo haga ;) HAIR :   -Dior: No crazy updos this time, but natural waves on the hair. I really like it, and it fits the collection really well. -Elie Saab: I love hair accessories. You can use ...
