Julie is no longer a full-time model, since she has moved back to Amsterdam to go to University. I obviously think she's doing the right thing, and wish her the best. However, I also want to see her modelling, so it's a good thing that we still get gorgeous covers and eds like this one. I personally am a fan of Muse magazine, because their content is usually really good. They don't produce as many issues as others do, but the issues they produce are solid. This is the kind of post that I write because I need to. I was going to wait to show you this ed, but after seeing Julie last Thursday, I need to do it now. She's one of those models who looks even prettier in person. And, like I said a couple of weeks ago (when I showed you her Vogue China ed), she keeps improving as a model. This is a pretty cool issue, actually. It's called "The Art Issue" and it has 3 beautiful covers. But I personally like Julie's cover better than Lorena's and Daria's. Her ed is also so much cooler. I love the colours and the way they played with the lights. And Julie is giving us some strong poses to complete the whole thing. Lovely job from a lovely young lady. Julie. Oh Julie! The first time I really noticed her was when I saw her campaign for the "Lemaire x Uniqlo" collaboration. And I had to do what I always do when someone gets my attention: go to TFS to check her old threads. After that, I've been following her career more, and it really fascinates me. Some models start their career with a bang. They produce quality work since day 1, and it kind of looks like they've been modelling their whole life. They simply were born to be models. Julie, however, had to learn how to be a model. When you compare her first shoots and her first runway appearances with her current work, the difference is huge. She gets better everyday because, you know...practice makes perfect.  Lately, she's been getting more print work and she's killing it. I particularly like this editorial she has done for Vogue China, but it's just an example of what she's capable of. Star in the making...mark my words. ...

Big fan of this collection for many reasons. The main one is that I love the models used for the lookbook. Both Adrienne and Julie are part of my group of favourites. And Julie has been killing it during the pre-fall season. Pre-fall queen. I also like the collection because it's quite different from what they've been doing lately, which I welcome. And, what I like the most is that they've created a pre-fall collection that looks appropiate for pre-fall. And we all know that doesn't happen often. All in all, lovely collection and lookbook.
