Romee Strijd for Vogue Japan January '18 #blogmasday15

Imagen
I'm bringing you yet another editorial. I just feel like it is the best thing for December, because it doesn't really require much thinking and the random posts are making me think a lot. And I overthink all the time, so you can see the problem. Anyways, here is Romee for Vogue Japan. She has had quite a few eds for them this year, so I'm hoping for a cover very soon.  And out of those editorials, this is for sure my favourite. Mainly because I love her with her hair up and we don't get to see that often. But also because the styling is absolutely perfect. Credit to Aurora Sansone. Will I ever stop looking at pictures of Romee and saying: God, she's so pretty!?...doubt it. "The anniversary of an elegant club" Ph: Walter Chin Os traigo otro editorial.

Blanca Padilla for Vogue Japan (Lifestyle feature)

Imagen
PH: David Mushegain Vogue Japan usually does this kind of lifestyle feature with different models, and I rarely dislike them. We basically get to see the models in a very natural way, in their own house and sharing some bits of her everyday life with us. This one really shows what this feature is about. As you may know, I really like Blanca. And despite liking her when she's styled in different ways, I feel like she looks her best when she is the most natural.  It doesn't really get much more natural than this.

Vogue Japan December: Sasha Luss by Steven Pan

Imagen
Hi! Sorry!!! =( I didn't post anything on Friday and I feel really bad about it. In my defense, I have to say that I barely touched my laptop from Wednesday to Friday night. Saying that I was busy is almost offensive, because I was beyond busy. But it's ok now, kind of. So I'm trying to compensate you by posting something very pretty. Ballerina + Sasha Luss = definetely pretty. Besides, no one is going to complain about this like they complained about Kendall and her ballerina shoot for Vogue Spain. So it's all good. Fantasies of a ballerina Ph: Steven Pan ¡¡Hola!! Bailarina + Sasha Luss = definitiv...

Vogue Japan April 2016: Willow Hand by Emma Tempest

Imagen
Vogue Japan keeps producing beautiful editorials. Too bad their covers are awful. I own the VJ issue (April '16) where we can find this editorial, and I'm so glad I do. It's gorgeous in so many levels and Willow is cute as a button. And when I got the magazine, I realised I had forgotten to add this ed to my "to write" list of posts.  These are the kind of pictures you can't look at just once. You could stare at them for hours. They're cute, they're fun, the show you some trends. What else can you ask for? And like I said, Willow is just too adorable. She looks like a doll, doesn't she? I reckon this kind of beauty (she has a bit of Gemma, a bit of Vlada, a bit of Lisa Cant, ...) works really well in countries like Japan. They should hire her more often for their eds...or cover, why not? Great ed. What do you think? =) The Glorious Geek Vogue Japón sigue produciendo editoriales preciosos. Una pena que su...

Vogue Japan February 2016: Roos Abels by Victor Demarchelier

Imagen
My last two posts about fashion have featured three of my favourite new faces: Adrienne Jüliger, Willow Hand and Julie Hoomans. It was only fair to show you Roos Abels' work before the year ended. And when I saw this editorial yesterday, I knew I had to change my blog schedule and write about it. There is something about Roos, but I don't know what it is. A certain charm that captivates you when you look at her. She's ridiculously young, though. That bothers some people, and it bothers me sometimes. But we can't deny how beautiful and special she is. She had her best runway season during the S/S 16 shows, and she's going to have her best campaign season (so far) now. I can feel it.  This editorial is very me. But you know that already, don't you? Minimalistic, very white, soft and romantic. I love it. Do you like Roos as well? Let me know.

Vogue Covers: June 2015

Imagen
Vogue UK June 2015: Anna Ewers by Patrick Demarchelier When I moved to the UK, I wasn't too sure about how I was going to like British Vogue. Last month I told you how much I liked the issue with the GoT's girl on the cover. But I didn't know back then that the best thing was going to happen this month. When I saw June's cover with Anna, I couldn't believe it how lucky I was. I would have been happy for her even if I couldn't get my hands on the issue, though. She hasn't been modeling for a long time, but she's managed to be on 3 out of the 4 big Vogue covers (Paris x2, Italia x2 & UK). She's unstoppable, and I love it. It's hard to imagine her getting the cover of US Vogue anytime soon (it's too bad she wasn't on the model issue from last September), but with a career like hers, I can see her getting that cover and many more.

Vogue covers (January 2015)

Imagen
Uk Vogue January 2015: Freja Beha Erichsen by Alasdair McLellan It's always nice to see Freja on a cover, but this proves how unoriginal UK Vogue is. Cara, Kate, Freja, ...they always pick the same models for their covers. This is a nice photo, though. Natural, as the cover says, and simple. I like it. Me gusta. Vogue Portugal January 2015: Barbara Palvin Back to back covers for Barbara. As I said last month, I like it when Vogue Portugal creates its own content.  I like this better than last month's. Vogue Netherlands ...
