Neiman Marcus "The September Book": Maartje Verhoef

Imagen
Back to the alternative titles. This could be called "When commercial brands create something way more luxurious than all the HF brands together". Too long. But it really defines the situation. Neiman Marcus always hires HF models. This time they picked Vanessa Axente, Julia Nobis and Maartje Verhoef, just to name a few. And those girls really delivered. Today I'm showing you Maartje's gorgeous pictures. I can't even consider this a catalogue, since these shots are better than the ones we can find in many magazines. Well done! Ph: Chris Colls Volvemos con los títulos alternativos. En este caso podríamos titular la entrada usando la frase "Cuando las marcas comerciales crean algo mucho más lujuso que todas las más lujosas de verdad juntas". Demasiado largo. Pero realmente define la situación. Neiman Marcus siempre contrata a modelos de HF. Esta vez han elegido a Vanessa Axente, Julia Nobis y Maart...

Porter Magazine Summer '16: Jessica Chastain by Ryan McGinley

When I moved to London, I wasn't aware that Porter Magazine was a British magazine. It was a very pleasant surprise.  They only produce 4 issues every year (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter), but each of them is incredible. Quality over quantity.  This summer issue proves my point. The cover and the cover story are stunning! (I love Jessica). And the rest of the editorials (I'll show you my two favourites) are high quality as well. Also, what I like the most is their articles. Those are always very interesting. In this issue there's an article about social media and the way it's affecting our lives. The title is "Are we dangerously in love with ourselves?", and it was written by Vassi Chamberlein. Very interesting read. You pay 5 pounds for each issue = 20 pounds/year. It may look like a lot of money for just 4 magazines, but I even found it cheap. Amazing magazine! "Girl on fire", Jessica Chastain by Ryan McGinley ...

Romee Strijd for Porter Magazine #11

Imagen
Ph: Chris Colls Several months ago, I was told Romee was going to do a shoot for Porter. That made me happy, since I usually like their eds. However, I've only ever bought it once, and it wasn't for me. But this issue is a must. The cover, with Marion Cotillard, is stunning and so is the whole issue. I also really like their articles. But the main reason why I love this issue, and the reason of this post, is Romee's editorial. It belongs to the beauty section for a reason. Pretty obvious reason, actually. And it has to be my favourite ed out of all the eds she's ever done. I just love how naturally pretty she looks. The mood of the ed is so laid back, but with a bit of sexy. You know, she's an angel, so she can't help it ;) How do you like this ed? Let me know. Hace varios meses me contaron que Romee iba a hacer una sesión de fotos para Porter. Eso me alegró mucho porque me suelen gustar sus editoriales. Sin embarg...
