Harper's Bazaar Germany October 2015: Taylor Hill by Terry Tsiolis

Imagen
Ph: Terry Tsiolis I've been wanting to talk about this cover since I first saw it. But I was waiting for the editorial to be released before doing the post. However, there's no editorial. It's quite annoying. But the cover is too pretty. Kind of similar to Constance's cover for Elle Spain. Both are simply beautiful. I'll leave you the cover without text, and the little text wrote about her. It's in German, I know, but some of you do speak German. Disfrutadlo =)

Vogue covers, September issues 2015

Imagen
The biggest issues of the year are here. Are they good enough for September? As usual, some are, some are not. My favourite covers are UK, Russia and Germany. Why? Well, I like UK Vogue as a whole, since it has great editorials on this issue. Russian Vogue is using Natasha once again, but I like the way she looks. And I love Julia Bergshoeff, as you may know, and I think she looks pretty on the cover of German Vogue. Not her best shot, that's for sure, but I like it. Vogue Spain and Vogue Netherlands tried, and I'll give them that. I don't love the covers, but there is something that tells me that I can't hate them either. USA, Paris, ...those are big names, yet they didn't deliver. I mean, is Beyonce still relevant? I don't want to see her on a fashion cover ever again. As for Vogue Paris, I think they should have used this cover for August and the August one (that I've talked about multiple times) for September. Switch and it's all good. Out o...

Vogue covers: July 2015

It's that time of the month again. And I want to just talk about the covers briefly and show you the pictures so you can see how you like them. Let me know what you think of these covers!! My favourite cover of the month is Gigi's cover for Vogue Brazil. It's a great photo, perfect for July. Great job! My least favourite is Cara's cover for US Vogue. So many flaws on that picture...it's annoying.  The rest are kind of meh, but it's nice to see Toni got two covers in one month. Lovely girl.

UK Vogue May 2015: Emilia Clarke by Paolo Roversi

This month I won't be talking about all the Vogue covers made for May. To be honest, most of them are quite bland, so you're not missing much. But I really wanted to talk about UK Vogue because I just moved to the UK and I bought this edition of Vogue for the first time ever. And I have to say that I liked it better than expected. The cover is not particularly striking, but I guess they didn't have to try much since they have a super star on it. I'm not a Game of Thrones fan, but I know a lot of people are. However, I really like the content. The editorials are quite nice. I really like Karen Elson's and Gigi Hadid's. The first one is very HF, while Gigi's is more modern and fresh. It's good to have both in the same issue. Also, the supplement is really nice. They did it in association with Next Agency, and it has Grace Hartzel on the cover. There's also a really nice beach shoot with Aline Webber, photographed by Gilles Bensimon. Really n...

Vogue USA March 2015: Taylor Swift & Karlie Kloss by Mikael Jansson

Two for the show As I said in my "Top 5 shows" post, I have a lot of posts about campaigns written. And I want to post them as soon as possible. That's why I'm not talking about every Vogue cover for March. Also, I feel like it's too late to talk about them. However, I couldn't resist talking about this one. There were lots of rumours about Karlie and Taylor getting a Vogue cover together, and they were true. Taylor was on the cover before, and so was Karlie. But Karlie was part of the models issue, therefore she wasn't alone on that cover. She isn't alone on this one either, but it's not the same. When she shared the cover with Cara and Joan (and the rest of the models who were on the fold-out), they kind of devalued her as a model. She had to share this big honour with models who are not as good as her. Now, she's here as some sort of celebritie. She's obviously not as popular as Taylor, but she's treated like her equa...

Harper's Bazaar España January/February 2015 : Manon Leloup by Alfonso Ohnur

I'm not Harper's Bazaar biggest fan. But I try to be a fair blogger, and if Harper's produces a cool cover, I'll talk about it. I'm not Manon's fan either, but that's not important. The important thing is that the magazine's team has created a great cover before leaving. This team has produced nice covers, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the new team is going to do. There are great professionals on that team, so it should be a good change. We'll talk about that in the future, if they create good content. But today we have to talk about this cover and editorial. The best thing I can say is that they picked the right photo for the cover. It's colorful, eye-catching, quirky,... I only have good things to say about it. The ed is ok, but some pictures are not my cup of tea. They're ok for this kind of ed, though. So I guess it's just a personal thing. Do you like it?? La gran bola de cristal ...

Vogue covers (January 2015)

Uk Vogue January 2015: Freja Beha Erichsen by Alasdair McLellan It's always nice to see Freja on a cover, but this proves how unoriginal UK Vogue is. Cara, Kate, Freja, ...they always pick the same models for their covers. This is a nice photo, though. Natural, as the cover says, and simple. I like it. Me gusta. Vogue Portugal January 2015: Barbara Palvin Back to back covers for Barbara. As I said last month, I like it when Vogue Portugal creates its own content.  I like this better than last month's. Vogue Netherlands ...

Vogue covers (February 2014)

Vogue Australia February 2014 : Cate Blanchett by Steven Chee Photoshop disaster. Awful. Se lo han cargado con el retoque. Horrible. Vogue China February 2014 : Iselin Steiro by Sølve Sundsbø It doesn't look bad, but it isn't great either. Her facial expression is ok, but her arms look a bit weird. UK Vogue February 2014 : Georgia May Jagger by Patrick Demarchelier UK Vogue is super edgy and cool, right?  It's not exciting at all to see Kate Moss followed by Cara, followed by Georgia....so boring. Vogue Paris February 2014 : Emily DiDonato by David Sims This cover makes me angry. You can't produce a "Top models" special w...
