Put on a Chic face

This season's must have, apparently, is a lip lacquer. Both Dior and Lancôme have created huge campaigns to advertise their version of it, and today I want to talk about those campaigns and what makes the product special. Let's start with Dior: El must de esta temporada es, al parecer, el lip lacquer. I have been following the shows, but I couldn't really pay much attention to any of them. So I can't really tell you which collection I liked above the others or anything like that. But I can tell you that I loved the idea behind Dior's make-up for their FW 18.19 show. They were promoting these eyeliners by showing a different look on each girl and they managed to make me try them all...even the yellow! Definetely a cool idea. ¡¡Hola!! Hace mucho que no escribo. Another Couture season has ended, and it felt very similar to me to the last few. By that I mean that I was kind of disappointed by most shows, but Valentino arrived and saved the day.  It is not just about creating good collections, it is about understanding HC as a concept. And I think Pierpaolo is really good at that. Another positive surprise was Givenchy. It was Clare's debut on the Couture world, and I have to say that I liked it way more than expected.  In the model department, someone who keeps on capturing my attention is Fran Summers, who walked most shows and opened Valentino. Vittoria and Kiki had yet another great season as well.  Otra temporada de costura ha terminado, y siento que ha sido similar a las últimas. Fashion can be so beautiful sometimes. It is a like living in a world of fairies, where everyone looks ethereal and you just want to be a princess (or a prince). That is how I felt when I saw this cover for Australian Vogue. They wanted to honor Dior on its anniversary and they couldn't have done a better job. Bella, who I don't really know much about, is a little fairy and Roversi has worked his magic once again.  If I saw this on the newsstands, I would not be able to control myself. Well, guess who didn't even post a schedule for this season's HC? I really am a mess right now. I've got a cold, a baby kitten who is hurt, I was almost killed by a ball at the cricket on Saturday, ...fashion doesn't seem like a priority. But, abandoning the blog won't make me feel any better. So excuse the messy posts during these next few days. I'll try to get some post-HC posts ready, so I don't struggle as much next week!! The classic story. Vanity Fair decided that the best thing to do was going to a beautiful house to show these beautiful couture gows. And who can show them better than Blanca? Not many people. Time flies when you're having fun! I can't believe fashion month is already over.  It's been quite the month. For me personally, it has been great. London Fashion Week felt like home, to be honest. And I got to skip one of the days for something super exciting. These last few days of PFW haven't been as amazing as the first ones, collections wise, but I enjoyed the shows more than last season. My biggest complaint would be that Valentino and Dior are still a bit of a mess, and that hurts my fashion heart.  More in a couple of months 😏😏 ¡El tiempo vuela cuando te lo pasas bien! No me puedo creer que el mes de desfiles haya acabado ya. Ha sido un mes interesante. Para mi personalmente ha sido bueno. London Fashion Week ya me hace sentir como en casa. Y me pude permitir saltarme un día por un motivo que me puso muy contenta. Estos últimos días de PFW no han sido tan buenos como los primeros en cuanto a colecciones, pero aún así he disfrutado más con ello...

We still have to wait a couple of weeks for the next big fashion month, but before that we always get some shows to fill that gap between seasons.
