Romee Strijd for Vogue Netherlands June 2017, by Jan Welters

I kind of love how I always go back to the same models...I'm that loyal. And you already know that I've been Romee's fan since the beginning of her career. While I adore her as a VS angel and a spokesmodel, my favourite kind of Romee is high fashion Romee. She started her career by walking for Burberry and Prada for a reason.  When it comes to this cover, I love the way her eyes are telling us a story. It's hypnotizing. The editorial, however, was a bit disappointing. Despite loving it, I feel like many of the photos are too similar pose wise, and that puts me off slightly. Still gorgeous, though.

Vogue covers, December 2015

Festive covers everywhere!! Do we like them? Well, I feel like they're better than last year, which is good. But I find this month quite boring cover wise. I quite like Vogue Spain's and Vogue México's covers. And Vogue Uk isn't bad either, but I like the mood of the editorial better. I dislike Vogue Paris and Vogue Brazil, and I don't really care much about the rest. I'll let you see them so you can tell me which one is your fave. No me gustan nada Vogue París y Vogue Brasil. UK Vogue November 2015: Léa Seydoux by Craig McDean When I saw this cover I few months ago, I stared at the picture like a crazy person. I LOVE Léa. She's totally my woman crush, and she looks flawless on this cover. I don't usually like celebs on covers, but this is my exception. ADORO a Léa. Vogue Germany November 2015: Victoria Beckham by Boo George Umm...what is this? I guess I'm back to not liking celebs on covers. But honestly, she looks really bad in this pictures. I saw it in person and it just looks bad. Vogue Spain November 2015: Catherine McNeil by Ezra Petron...

Vogue UK June 2015: Anna Ewers by Patrick Demarchelier When I moved to the UK, I wasn't too sure about how I was going to like British Vogue. Last month I told you how much I liked the issue with the GoT's girl on the cover. But I didn't know back then that the best thing was going to happen this month. When I saw June's cover with Anna, I couldn't believe it how lucky I was. I would have been happy for her even if I couldn't get my hands on the issue, though. She hasn't been modeling for a long time, but she's managed to be on 3 out of the 4 big Vogue covers (Paris x2, Italia x2 & UK). She's unstoppable, and I love it. It's hard to imagine her getting the cover of US Vogue anytime soon (it's too bad she wasn't on the model issue from last September), but with a career like hers, I can see her getting that cover and many more.

Vogue Nederland May 2015: Ola Rudnicka by Jan Welters

Ola is one of my favourites. Her beauty is surreal, and she's a great model. I like her on the runway, but her print work definetely outshines her runway work. I already did a post with my favourite editorials with Ola, and now I have to add this one. A lot of people tell me that I only like blonde models, and that's not true. I mean, there are more blondes than brunettes in this industry, and I can't do anything about that.  Ola became popular when she dyed her hair. However, she's not an icy blonde anymore, which I'm happy about. She's one of those few girls that look great with this hair colour, but I like her natural honey blonde hair better. This is one of the last editorials where we'll see this hair.  The best thing about this editorial is Ola. The styling isn't great, the photoshop isn't great, the story isn't great, ...but she makes everything look perfect. You can't go wrong, if you hire Ola. "Second sk...

Vogue covers (April 2015)

Vogue México April 2015: Catherine McNeil by James Macari Sporty chic? No thanks. These covers aren't bad, but Cat is not the right model for them. She doesn't have that sporty look. Other models like Karlie or Karmen would have been a better fit. ¿Sporty chic? No gracias. US Vogue April 2015: Serena Williams by Annie Leibovitz While it makes sense to have a tennis player on the cover of the shape issue, I can't understand why they picked Serena. And, they made her look awful. Really, she looks better when she's playing and sweating. Vogue Austra...
