Backstage Roberto Cavalli FW 16.17 (Video source: Cavalli's yt channel) MAKE-UP :   -Max Mara, Bottega Venetta & Marni: Dark lips, my favourite thing in the make-up world. These 3 shows showed us 3 different shades that I really liked.  For Max Mara, some girls wore red lips, but that's not so interesting, is it? ;)   - Fendi: You can't use colorful make-up during fall and winter...they say. Well, both Fendi and I disagree. For this show they created a different design on each model, and all of them were amazing. Very artistic and original. Pues tanto Fe...

Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 16.17: Review #2

-Max Mara: First show of the day. I was dizzy (literally) when I saw it, and it didn't make me feel better. Guess why? So, in the last 3 seasons we got a very classic but sort of sexy collection, then one full of stars, and now this. It doesn't really make sense, and I honestly don't get the collection. -Costume National: One of my favourite shows in Milano. I always like their clean cuts and the simplicity of the designs. Less is more. I do feel like they've gone out of their comfort zone slightly, which is nice. And I like the result, as always.

-Max Mara: Well, this is weird. Like nice weird, but weird. Wow, that makes so much sense.  What I mean is that this doesn't feel Max Mara at all, which is a bad thing for me, since I love Max Mara. It looks younger and I'm not sure that fits the brand. I can't think of many teenagers wearing Max Mara, to be honest. The clothes are nice, but it really feels like I'm watching another show. Again, weird feeling. -Fendi: Oh my Fendi! I just love their S/S collections. The colours, the patterns, the sunglasses, ...it's all ...

Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Dolce & Gabbana and Costume National

As an Spaniard, I'm really annoyed by the lack of fashion journalists in the country. There are people who know a lot about fashion, like myself. But most of the times they pick the wrong person to write about fashion. I'm talking about regular newspapers, not fashion related press. Really, they only need to ask someone who knows about fashion about the topic they're going to write about. They constantly make mistakes, and it really annoys me. These two campaigns are a big example. Both Blanca and Steffy are from Spain, yet Blanca is the only one people who doesn't like fashion know about. Why? Because she walked for Victoria's Secret. Before that, only fashion people like me knew who she was. After VS, tons and tons of people know her. That's good, of course. But it's also unfair. She had an amazing season in NY, Milan, Paris,... yet she doesn't get credit for it. It's very frustrating for someone like me. And now she has "fans...
