My new Valentino sunglasses (+ video)

During the last 4 years, I've been telling you that Valentino is my favourite brand. I enjoy everything they do and it even makes me emotional.  That's why I was waiting for the new store in Old Bond Street (London) to open. Oh my God! It's stunning. Everything has its own space, we're able to see all the different accessories and pieces of clothing properly, ...and there's lots of space to move around the store. Also, all the people who work there are ridiculously nice and they make your visit to the store perfect.  If you're in London, go visit this new store because it's eye candy, and so is everything they sell there. Sunglasses are an obsession for me. I love them, and I enjoy trying new shapes and seeing how they look on me. We all have different features, and we have to find the kind of shades that look better on us. I personally like big sunglasses, like these ones I'm showing you today. These were featured in the Fall/Winter 15.16 cam...

Valentino Pre-Fall 2015: Grace, Ine, Maartje & Harleth by Michal Pudelka

Most brands use the same photographer every season (Meisel for Prada, Mert&Marcus for Versace, ...). Valentino, however, keeps changing. That's good for me, but some of you may disagree. I feel like changing the photographer every 2 or 3 seasons creates more expectation. It doesn't look the same all the time (unless they try to copy each other, which didn't happen yet). I talked about it too:  http://putonachicface.blogspot.co.uk/2015/03/springsummer-2015-campaigns-valentino.html The campaign was absolutely stunning. One of my all time favourites, for sure. This pre-fall one is fantastic too. It's true that the "mirror effect" has been done before (plenty of times, actually), but this looks different and special. The models fit the brand really well, and the styling is great. Well done, Valentino! =) Valentino Pre-fall 2015: Grace Hartzel, Ine Neefs, Maa...

Spring/Summer 2015 campaigns: Valentino

Dear people who read my blog, today it's my birthday. And I wanted to talk about something special today. That's why I'm reviewing Valentino's campaign. I guess everyone knows about my love for Valentino, but most people loved this ad. It's not just me this time ;) The collection was my favourite of the season, and the ad is my favourite as well. The funniest thing about it (which is quite depressing for me), it's that the photographer is younger than me. Michal Pudelka (Bratislava, 1990) shot this campaign, and that makes everything more fascinating. He's so young, but so talented. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I notice his work, and my first impression couldn't be better. One of my teachers used to say that: there's only one chance to make a good first impression. So far, so good. I can't wait to see more of his work. The best thing about the campaign is how simple it is. It may not look simple, but it's the simplest thin...
