Put on a Chic face

Last year, I completely forgot about this post I used to write every year. It's a fun one for me, and hopefully a helpful one for you. During the holidays, there are many traditions that people stick to. Some families like to wear matching pyjamas or just matching clothes. Others like to wear costumes related to the festivities. But many just like to dress up a bit.  And then there is New Year's Eve, which is a it like Halloween in a way. It's often seen as the day when we can go crazy fashion wise. The day when no one gets funny looks for dressing like a disco ball. As with everything, people's styles and personalities have to be taken into account. That means there isn't one perfect holiday outfit. The last couple of years, I've tried to help you pick a cute outfit for New Year's Eve. I feel like this year most stores have realised we do like to wear crazier clothes for this time of the year, and they've come out with really cool "party collections".  Mango and Topshop are, in my opinion, the ones that really nailed it this year. But I'm going to try to show you outfits that caught my eye and that you can find in different stores. And you know, as I always say, this is the day to have fun and wear as many things with sequins as possible. Looking like a disco ball is allowed ;) Also, I wanted to say that, if you don't feel like spending so much money on something you're going to wear once, you can always go somewhere like Primark to get your outfit. Models like Kendall, who is also a celebritie, are followed by the media everyday. That's how we get so many pictures of them, and we get to see what they wear almost every single day. That's why I thought it could be cool if I did a post where I talk about Kendall's style in different situations. I really like her style, to be honest. Sometimes she tries too hard, but who doesn't?? But I usually like what she wears, and I even save some pictures so I can recreate the outfits myself. Today I wanted to show you three different outfits she wore recently. One of them is perfect for the daytime, the second is a bit more special, and the last one is perfect for a night out. A couple of years ago I did a really cute post talking about dresses you could wear on New Year's Eve. And I think I should do the same again. I don't particularly like to go out during New Year's Eve, but I think this is the day to have fun choosing your outfit. If you can't wear sequins and sparkly clothes on New Year's Eve, when can you??? Go crazy, have fun, and wear that outfit you won't wear any other day because you're too shy. Really, you won't regret it. You can experiment with your hair and make-up too. Why not?  Today I wanted to show you a couple of options. I'm choosing outfits you can buy at Zara, Mango, H&M,...because those stores are everywhere. Also, they're on the affordable side.
