Put on a Chic face

After the huge production for the Spring/Summer show that Versace did, everyone expected a huge campaign. Some people wanted a campaign with the supermodels from the 90's and other wanted a mix of models from different decades. The team went for the latter, and I'm happy about it. Cast-wise we've got the iconic supermodels (Naomi and Christy), the iconic supers from the 00's (Gisele, Natalia, Raquel), some models who have stablished themselves as future icons recently (Irina, Vittoria, Gigi) and some newer models (Birgit, Cara, Grace and Kaia). As always, some people wanted this model in the campaign and that model far away from it...but pleasing everyone is an impossibility. I'm personally happy with the casting, and waiting to see more pictures. The absolute highlight, in my opinion, is Naomi. Sometimes I feel like she doesn't really try because she's Naomi and doesn't have to anymore. But these pictures of her look like they belong to...

Festive covers everywhere!! Do we like them? Well, I feel like they're better than last year, which is good. But I find this month quite boring cover wise. I quite like Vogue Spain's and Vogue México's covers. And Vogue Uk isn't bad either, but I like the mood of the editorial better. I dislike Vogue Paris and Vogue Brazil, and I don't really care much about the rest. I'll let you see them so you can tell me which one is your fave. ¡¡Portadas festivas por todas partes!! ¿Nos gustan? Bueno, en cierto modo si porque me resultan mejores que las del año pasado. Pero este mes me aburre un poco. Me gustan bastante las portadas de Vogue España, Vogue México y Vogue UK, aunque en esta última tengo que decir que el estilo del editorial me gusta más. Karl Lagerfeld Spring/Summer 2015: Kendall Jenner, Sasha Luss, Ming Xi & Baptiste Giabiconi by Karl Lagerfeld Well, this is a disaster. I'm not a very talented photographer, but I can do something better than this. It looks so amateur. And that's the worst thing about it. Most people attack Kendall, saying she looks out of place and awful. But, my question is: is there a model who could have saved this campaign? Because I don't think so. It's not Kendall's fault. Sasha and Ming don't look good either. Bueno, pues solo puedo decir que esto es un desastre. No soy una fotógrafa muy buena, pero yo haría algo mejor que esto. Es muy amateur, y eso es lo peor. La mayoría de la gente ataca a Kendall, diciendo que parece estar fuera de lugar y que sale fea. Pero, mi pregunta es: ¿hay alguna modelo que pudiera haber salvado esta campaña? Porque yo creo que no. No es culpa de Kendall. Sasha y Ming tampoco salen bien. Fendi...

I've been thinking about doing this post for a while. I don't have an instagram, but I check it on my computer to see what the models are up to. It's a great way for them to share news, personal pictures, and those kind of things. Actually, instagram (and twitter) got crazy on Monday, because lots of models confirmed they were walking the VSFS by posting a picture on their instagram. That's why I wanted to show you the models you should be following on IG. Like US Vogue said, the "instagirls" are very important now.   -Chanel: Everyone is freaking out because Gisele walked for Chanel. Guess what? I don't care. I think she's the most overrated model ever. And she's not a Chanel woman. Apart from her, we also had some celebrities, of course. I judge you, Karl. My favourite moment of the show was Toni's appearance. She used to be Karl's muse, and I'm glad to see her back at one of his shows. The collection was really decent. If we compare it with the last collections, we can see the difference. Poor Kendall had to were the ugliest outfit. It's been a while since the last time I was this pleased with a Chanel collection. I'm glad I am. Todo el mundo se vuelve loco porque Gisele desfile para Chanel. Pues, ¿sabéis qué? Yo paso. Creo que es la modelo más sobrevalorada de la historia. Y no la veo como una mujer Chanel.
