Put on a Chic face

Should a model be a role model? I usually say no, because that is way too much pressure for someone who may not be trying to influence people with their behaviour at all. They just want to influence with their work. However, some people naturally become a role model and Jac is one of them. She started modelling when she was really young and got a lot of hate for that, but now she's turned into an incredible women, who most people admire. She's always lived a very healthy and sporty life and now is involved in really cool projects.  Her latest one? Raising awareness for the illness she was diagnosed with last year. If you read my VSFS posts, you'll know that I said that Jac was ill and that was one of the reasons why she wasn't going to be a part of the show. This week she has finally decided to say what happened to her, and how she is fighting to help others with the same condition. 2012 was a great year for Anne V. (Prada campaign; covers for Numero, Vogue, Elle, etc...) and it looks like 2013 is going to be good too. I'm really happy because I think Anne is too underrated. Probably because a lot of people knew her as "girlfriend of" but she's been modelling since she was really young and has achieved great things. She got her Chanel Chance contract when she was 16, and she keeps renewing it. And, even though her runway career has not been that great, she has walked for big brands like Prada, JPG, etc...and she has featured in campaigns for Louis Vuitton, DKNY, Revlon, Chloé, Ralph Lauren, Sportmax, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, ...not bad, right? That's why I'm really happy she's not a "girlfriend of" anymore, and now that she's not, she gets something like a Prada campaign. She can be classic, but also sexy.
