The secret is finally out! Lais Ribeiro is the angel who is wearing this year's Fantasy Bra, called "Champagne Nights". And I can't say these news excite me much. Lais is a very beautiful woman, and she has a great body, but...she doesn't have "it". That something that makes supermodels be as special as they are. She is what people call a boring model, which isn't necessarily a derogatory description, but a reality. However, that doesn't mean she doesn't deserve wearing the FB, because she's been working very hard for the brand for the past 7 years. It's just that I rather see other models wearing it. The design of the bra is the one thing I can't stand. It's awful! And that's why I don't get why most people talk about how it is the most beautiful FB ever. Really? It's just awful! Jasmine Tookes I'm back with another VS related post. I still don't know how many I will do but...expect a few more during this month. On today's post I wanted to talk about 3 different things, as you can see on the title. The first one being the location for the show, Paris. This is the third time they do the show in Europe (after Cannes and London). The show will be held at the stunning Grand Palais (where Chanel presents its collections). Promising. Lily Aldridge is the model who will wear it on the runway. Most people thought it was going to be Behati the one wearing the FB, and they didn't seem happy about it. She's never been very popular and I don't know why. Marrying a celebritie, losing a lot of weight and becoming a blonde didn't help either. Go figure. However, I think she should have been the one wearing it. But when it comes to VS, the whole deserving thing is usually ignored. If you don't believe me, you can ask Alessandra Ambrosio. But yeah, I really thought it was going to be Behati and I was happy about it. She never was my favourite, but I do like the way she's become a proper angel after being a PINK spokesmodel. Saturday was a crazy day. We were waiting to know who was wearing the FB, and it was two days ago when we found out there were TWO Fantasy Bras. Crazy and epic stuff. I kind of knew Adriana got it, but I didn't know about Ale getting a FB too. I'm very happy for her, because VS has mistreated her a lot, and she deserves to be on the spotlight. Also, the show is goint to be filmed in London, and these two are the most popular angels in Europe. Doutzen is very popular too, but she was pregnant and couldn't work for VS for a while. I'm from Europe myself, and I know people don't really know who Candice, Behati or Lily are. Therefore, it makes sense to let the most popular models be the stars of the show. Each FB is worth 2 million dollars and they both seem to have an arabic inspiration. That kind of segment can be awesome, if they do it properly. It's almost that time of the year again. Less than a month to see the looks at the VSFS. It airs on December (Dec. 10th), but it will be taped very soon (13th November). That was all we knew until Wednesday, when we finally saw the 10 Million Dollar Fantasy Bra. Now, we only need to know who's performing and who's opening the show (please, let Karlie open). Victoria's Secret angel Candice Swanepoel is going to be the one who wears the famous bra, which is called Royal Fantasy Bra. God knows I'm not her fan but, poor thing, that bra is awful. Easily the worst they've ever done. And the panties are just...too hard to describe. Besides, Candice's walk is one of the most boring things on earth, so I'm going to have a nice cup of coffee next to me while I watch the show.
