Put on a Chic face

Julia is one of my favourite models for many reasons. One of those being her perfect face, which is perfect for beauty ads. The lovely people for Armani notices as well, and booked her for this gorgeous beauty campaign. Everytime I go to Selfridges and see the ad, I just feel like buying everything on the stand...it is that good. And now they also play videos with her on a massive screen. La gente adorable que trabaja en Armani también se dio cuenta y la contrataron para esta preciosa campaña de belleza. Cada vez que voy a Selfridges y veo el anuncio me dan ganas de comprar todo lo que tienen en el stand...es así de buena. Y ahora también ponen su vídeo en una pantalla gigante. Saben como vender sus productos.

Elle France Nov. '15 Who should be the star of the season? The model that walks the most shows? The one that opens more shows than any other model? ...maybe, but for me it is the model that makes the biggest impact on the people watching the shows. The model than impressed me, personally, the most was Birgit Kos. And that led to me doing some research about her. Her face looked familiar, and I felt like she had been doing top shows for seasons. But actually, that wasn't true. I think I remembered her from her SS 16 Giorgio Armani campaign. She also caught my eye because of her campaigns for Miu Miu, where she outshined the other models. For the SS 17 season she only did one show: Miu Miu, which she opened. And she carried that momentum to this FW 17.18 season. She skipped both NY and London, but started with a bang closing the Fendi show. I can see her getting the campaign. ¿Quién debería ser la estrella de la temporada? ¿La modelo que hace más desfiles? ...

Milan fashion week is over, and the action starts today in Paris. Last stop of this crazy month, and I'm very much looking forward to certain shows. Today should be a quiet day, with the exception of YSL at the end of day 1. But it's time for me to talk about four last shows seen in Milan. La semana de la moda de Milán ya ha terminado, y la acción empieza hoy en París. Última parada en este mes de locos, y tengo muchas (pero que muchas) ganas de ver según que desfiles. Hoy es un día tranquilito, con la excepción de YSL al final del día.  Pero ahora lo que toca es que os hable de cuatro últimos desfiles de Milán.   -Salvatore Ferragamo: This is just one of my favourite brands, but I was aware that the designer change could affect that favoritism. It didn't really, because this collection is as close to flawless as it gets. It might not be the most exciting one, because it's quite classic and safe, but it's so well made and beautiful. I love it. ...

Milano Milano! Oh gorgeous Milano! One of my favourite cities when it comes to fashion. I haven't been paying attention to the shows because, you know, reasons. But I did check to see whether there was something worth mentioning. Prada was amazing and so was Etro. The rest were...ok. I'll let you judge the rest of the collections. ¡Milano Milano! ¡Bella Milano! Una de mis ciudades favoritas en lo que a moda se refiere. No he prestado mucha atención a sus desfiles por, ya sabéis, motivos. Pero si que he mirado a ver si había algo que merecía la pena comentar. Prada fue una pasada y Etro también. But also happy for you.  I also wanted to thank you because the blog has been viewed a lot these last couple of days. Milan is over =( I know, very sad. But, this also means that tomorrow PFW begins. Let's put it that way so we can be happy. Today I got out of the house and it felt really good. However, it's super hot in London today, and that annoyed me a little. I'm still sick, you know. But I got to get a couple of things and I kind of wanted to share that with you. Saying "my day in pictures" is a bit too much xD But, who cares? So, the first good thing happened when I saw a copy of W Magazine on the tube. I asked if it belonged to anyone who was there, and they all said no. Therefore, I took it. It's amazing, because this cover with Gigi is super gorgeous. And the issue is really nice. So, thank you to the person who decided to leave it there. Then I went to Starbucks to get a Pumpkin Spice Latte, which is my new favourite hot drink. For their Giorgio Armani campaign, they used an italian beauty that embodies what this brand is about. Absolutely beautiful. For their Emporio Armani ads, they used models and a celeb, like last season. And both campaigns are nice. It's always nice to see Calvin in his underwear, ...I mean, in a fashion campaign ;) ;) Lovely ads. I'll let you now with the pictures and videos. Enjoy! Today I'm talking about these last two shows that took place today in Milan. But I also wanted to include PFW's schedule, since I'll be talking about beauty tomorrow. On Wednesday I'll review the first two days of PFW. Hoy hablaré de estos dos últimos desfiles de Milán. Pero también quise incluir el calendario de París, ya que mañana hablaré de belleza. El miércoles hablaré de los dos primeros días de la PFW.   -Dsquared2: Big cast for this show. I didn't expect to see this kind of models walking today, but it's always nice to see Trentini opening and closing shows. The last couple of seasons, the cast was worse but the clothes were better. I feel like they change for the worst, but they still can make a great show. Gran casting para el desfile.
