US Vogue Dec. '16: Dior's editorial

Imagen
In order to succeed in the fashion industry, you need a few things. And one of those is support. When it is Anna Wintour/US Vogue supporting you, things are way easier. And Maria Grazia has a crazy amount of support, that she deserves because of her talent. This editorial is another bit of support that she's getting directly from Wintour, but it is also a great editorial, so I had to show it to you. The photo with Grace and Taylor is one of my favourites ever. P...

Louis Vuitton "Spirit of Travel": Léa Seydoux by Patrick Demarchelier

Fashion is all about the gangs these days: Wang's gang, Tisci's gang, Balmain's army, ...and Nicholas and his Vuitton girls. These gangs are mostly formed by models, but in this case I'll show you how celebrities can be part of them too. One of the best things about Nicholas is how loyal he is. When he has a muse, that model/celeb remains his muse for a long time (or forever). He's obsessed with some models, like Rianne von Rompaey or Jean Campbell. But he's also obsessed with some celebs (mainly actresses), who have become spokespersons for the brand because of him. My favourite being Alicia Vikander (I was part of the #teamVikander before the Oscars). However, her campaigns for the brand aren't the best. I honestly don't think she fits this brand 100%. But I don't dislike her ads either. Back in January, it was announced that Léa was LV's newest spokesperson. It left me speechless, since she has been a Prada girl since...well, befor...

My gif (Video source: Dior's yt channel) Dior Spring/Summer 2016: Grace Hartzel, Roos Abels, Maartje Verhoef, Sofia Mechetner, Binx Walton & Staz Lindes by Patrick Demarchelier It's my birthday today. Cake for everyone!! Today I wanted to do the same thing I did last year: talk about my favourite campaign of the season. I currently am obsessed with Dior. I love their clothes. their make-up, their accessories, ...I would do ANYTHING for a Diorama bag (in blue). Again: Hint! Hint! ;) This campaign is one of the reasons why I'm obsessed with the brand. It's stunning! First of all, I love the cast. Maartje, Grace, Roos, ...and Sofia, who is one of my new favourites. All of them are gorgeous girls that fit the brand completely.  I think the images show the clothes and the accesories beautifully, which is very important. And so does the video. This was Raf's last collection and, even though this ad was done after he left, I feel like they ma...

Vogue covers, September issues 2015

Imagen
The biggest issues of the year are here. Are they good enough for September? As usual, some are, some are not. My favourite covers are UK, Russia and Germany. Why? Well, I like UK Vogue as a whole, since it has great editorials on this issue. Russian Vogue is using Natasha once again, but I like the way she looks. And I love Julia Bergshoeff, as you may know, and I think she looks pretty on the cover of German Vogue. Not her best shot, that's for sure, but I like it. Vogue Spain and Vogue Netherlands tried, and I'll give them that. I don't love the covers, but there is something that tells me that I can't hate them either. USA, Paris, ...those are big names, yet they didn't deliver. I mean, is Beyonce still relevant? I don't want to see her on a fashion cover ever again. As for Vogue Paris, I think they should have used this cover for August and the August one (that I've talked about multiple times) for September. Switch and it's all good. Out o...

Anna Ewers for Vogue UK June 2015, by Patrick Demarchelier

I already told you how I feel about the cover, but I also wanted to let you know how much I like the editorial. When I saw the cover, I felt like they were going to do what they always do with Anna: style her as Brigitte Bardot. And, that kind of is the idea of the editorial, but it's much more than that too. Anna is the perfect model for this kind of editorial. Her body looks amazing, she looks really sexy without even trying, ... however, my favourite shots are the ones where she smiles. Her smile is gorgeous, really. She usually has this badass look, trying to look tough. But the truth is that she has the most genuine smile I've seen in a while. When she smiles, she looks 5 years younger and 10 times prettier. Stunning cover, stunning editorial, stunning Anna!! Blue summer Ya os he dicho mi opinión sobre la portada, pero quería también hablaros de lo mucho que me gusta el edito. Cuando vi la portada, pensé que iban a hac...
