Put on a Chic face

When I decided to do just two reviews during fashion week, I wasn't sure about it. I felt like I was letting you guys down, that you'll think I'm just being lazy, ...but it is the best decision I've made in a while. It's not that I don't have time to write about the shows...I barely have time to watch them. It should be better during the European fashion weeks, though.  Anyway, I've selected 9 collections that I want to talk about. Three of them (Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger and Thakoon) are part of the "see now, buy now" trend, so they actually belong to the FW collections. NYFW is over!! And judging by all the beauty looks that I'm going to show you today, it's been great in the beauty department. ¡¡La NYFW ha terminado!! Y juzgando por el número de looks de belleza que os voy a enseñar, podéis ver que ha sido una buena semana en este aspecto. MAKE-UP :   -Nicholas K: I love a statment bold lip. It honestly steals the show. You only need to make sure you have a good base on the rest of the face, and that's it. Easy, quick, stunning. Me encantan los colores fuertes en los labios. Se llevan toda la atención. Solo tenéis que aseguraros de crear una buena base en el resto de la cara, y listo. Fácil, rápido, precioso.   -Jason Wu: It's all about the lashes here. Not the most wearable look, but not as bad as you may think. It's quite an interesting look. Aquí la cosa va de pestañas. No es el look más ponible, pero no es tan malo como parece. She was supposed to be the Karlie Kloss of her generation. What happened? Anyway, let's talk about the collection. Do I spy (with my little eye) some Louis Vuitton inspiration? I mean, it's 9 am and I'm not fully awake but...it's pretty obvious, right? And that kind of proves my point that what I don't like about this brand is its lack of personality. I don't see an Altuzarra piece and think "that's Altuzarra" unless I recognize it from the runway show. And that's basic in fashion. Ohhh, ¿no es maravilloso ver a Vanessa de vuelta en la pasarela? Hello! Did you miss me? As you can imagine, there's a good reason why I haven't been active these last couple of days. On Friday, my laptop "died". It was the weirdest thing ever, really. And the worst timing ever too, I know. But, it works again. So, let's forget about my sad Saturday. And, let's focus on the shows.
