Put on a Chic face

Models on the cover of US Vogue! Let's celebrate! It's been a while since the last time something like this happened. And we're all very excited about this issue. First of all, it's a September issue, and that's important enough to get all our attention. But we also have "the models of the moment" on the cover. To be honest, it's more like 8 models and a celebritie (hi Cara!), but whatever. I'm too happy to complain. When I first saw the cover, I was very happy for Karlie. She totally deserves being on the cover. But once I knew about the fold-out, I freaked out. I always thought that Vanessa will be on the cover, if they did a "models of the moment" cover again. But knowing for a fact that she was on the cover was too much. I'm such a proud fan. Then, we can discuss about who shouldn't be on the cover, and who should be on it...but, to be honest, that's quite pointless. This isn't Vogue Italia, where we get models ...

As I said a year ago, I love these interviews because we don't get many interviews with models. So, it's nice to see 10 minutes of interview and some of the runway shows they walked. New collaboration between a designer and H&M. I've already talked about this on my other blog, where I showed the lookbook, but today's post is about the history of the brand and the campaign. It was founded on 1994 by Isabel Marant, a french designer. In 1999 she presents her first collection during PFW, where she showed one of her lines, the Etoile one. She kept exploring the fashion world by creating lingerie, a line for kids and opening different stores. And all of a sudden, big celebrities started to wear her designs and she became as popular as she is nowadays. And that's basically what you need, some celebrities saying your clothes are amazing, and everyone starts saying how they always loved the brand (that's why I hate it girls).
