Put on a Chic face

There were three big shows yesterday (Max Mara, Prada & Fendi), and all three collections were a dream. But what I really want to show today is the make-up used for two of those shows. Ayer hubo 3 desfiles importantes (Max Mara, Prada y Fendi) y las tres colecciones me encantaron. Pero lo que quería mostraros os es el maquillaje usado para dos de esos desfiles.   -Max Mara: Starting the day with Max Mara was great, and the beauty created for the show was one of the reasons. There two looks that are so me, I actually got comments from people saying that I was their muse. I have weird friends. One of those looks was a very flawless face with pretty much nothing on the eyes, cheeks, etc...but a very strong hot pink lip. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with that kind of look. Comparisons are something we can't escape from. Siblings are compared by friends and family, we all compare ourselves with everyone around us. It is bad and unhealthy, yet impossible to avoid. So when you get a bunch of models who have similarities, they will be compared to one another all the time. That is the case with the instamodels and we usually get people asking about who's the best one or the most succesful. I guess it depends on what you concentrate on when talking about that. Kendall is probably the most famous, Bella got the record for the most September covers this year, Kaia got Brokaw's approval and walked for shows that the other instamodels haven't walked for...it all depends. However, in my opinion, when we put all stats together...Gigi wins. She's got the covers, the campaigns, the contracts, the fame, ... Just look at the collaborations she is doing with brands. They want her to put her name on those products, because everythings sh...

I have been talking so much about Dior beauty lately that you must be bored by now. But, honestly, they are the make-up brand that excites me the most at the moment.  Peter Philips has taken the brand to another level. His latest idea? A "metallics" collection. The stars of the collection are the "metalizer eyes&lips". But the eyeshadow palettes deserve a mention as well. I have never been someone who has a massive make-up collection, but I usually was very aware of new releases. It didn't matter that I wasn't going to buy any of the products, I just knew about them. But lately I haven't been really into checking the new releases before they go on sale. However, when I saw these pictures on Lancôme's instagram I went all "oohhhhh, pretty!!", and I decided to take a good look at all the products. I've always loved using shades of blue on my eyes, since I think it compliments brown eyes beautifully and because it's my favourite colour. So I obviously fell in love with all these blue shades. Gorgeous! The packaging for the bronzer is also too pretty. I can't wait to see these products in a Lancôme counter. Super quick post, since it's almost bed time. Life has been crazy in the last couple of days, sorry. I wanted to find a nice look that could be used for the holidays, and I remembered how much I enjoyed these videos by Estée Lauder. They have more examples on their channel. Also, I read an article the other day about wearing dark lips during the summer. I don't know about you, but I've been doing it for a while.
