Put on a Chic face

Around this time of the year, we get to see more perfume adverts everywhere. But this one caught my eye while walking around London, because it was heavily featured on the big screens at Picadilly Circus. The whole production for the campaign is huge. James Jagger plays Paul and Matilda Lutz plays Laura on a film directed by Fabien Constant. And the main idea behind it is that love makes you stronger, and that those two individuals will be the better version of themselves when they are together. While it is a lovely message, many may say that it promotes a very specific kind of relationship and leaves all the others as a second option.  My reaction when I saw the names of the perfumes on the big screens was that I liked how the Stronger with you name was used for the male one.  At the end of the day, this is just a perfume campaign and thinking too much about what can mean is a bit pointless. But that's me, I overthink everything. What about the smell? Interes...

Hi there! I wanted to apologize for not writing a post yesterday. But, it's been crazy lately. And yesterday I finished working at 11 pm, so I really didn't feel like doing anything blog related. I'm really sorry, but you have to understand that I'm a human and even I have a limit. This season I'm loving most beauty looks. It's great, because we get a lot of inspiration from them. I'll show you now some of my faves. Esta temporada me están gustando muchos looks de belleza. HAIR & MAKE-UP :   -Alberta Ferretti: When I talked about this beautiful collection, I mentioned how pretty the hair and the make-up were. They used earthy colours, which matched the clothes. And they went a little crazy with the bronzer, but in a good way. It's just me being scared of bronzers ;) But, you know what? For their Giorgio Armani campaign, they used an italian beauty that embodies what this brand is about. Absolutely beautiful. For their Emporio Armani ads, they used models and a celeb, like last season. And both campaigns are nice. It's always nice to see Calvin in his underwear, ...I mean, in a fashion campaign ;) ;) Lovely ads. I'll let you now with the pictures and videos. Enjoy!   -Max Mara: What a lovely collection! Marilyn inspired. That's why they chose Gigi to open and close the show. She is a blonde bombshell, and curvy, unlike other models. There were very classic colours, like camel. But there were lots of pastels as well, and I love those. It was really nice to see the models holding the coat, since it adds something special to the show. ¡Qué colección tan bonita! Inspirada por Marilyn. Por eso eligieron a Gigi para abrir y cerrar el desfile. Ella es un pibón rubio, y tiene curvas, al contrario que otras modelos. Hubo muchos colores clásicos, como el camel. Pero también había muchos tonos pastel, los cuales me encantan. Estuvo bien ver a las modelos sujetando el abrigo, ya que añade un toque especial al desfile.   -Fendi: Doutzen opened the show.
