Put on a Chic face

As you may have noticed, I don't really talk about Vogue covers anymore. And that is because I feel like they aren't as exciting as they used to be, and I feel like I just repeat myself. But I do see covers that deserve to be mentioned. When I saw this image, I felt that way. I had to share it with you, since you were likely to miss it. I mean, not many people check Vogue Korea's cover every month, right? Even I don't. I believe this is Jean's first Vogue cover, though I could be wrong. January issues of Vogue are here. As I said before, this is a weak month, and even though the girls they casted for the covers are not weak at all, the results are not that good. Here I am with some of the December covers that are already out. December is, as you may already know ;), the last month of the year and is quite an important month for magazines. It's not as important as September, or March, but it has something special and magazine directors always try to do something different and good this month. What I mean is that they put an extra effort on December but then their January's issue is usually weak. For some magazines, such as Vogue Paris, this is their December/January cover and issue, which is another reason to try to do a good job. Another thing we have to think about is that Christmas is coming, and we usually see some festive colours on the covers (lots of green and red) or even some snow, or references to religion (for example, last year's December cover of Vogue Spain with Dree H. and a baby, which made us think on Virgin Mary and Jesus). Speaking about Vogue Spain, I'm really looking forward to seeing their December issue...
