Karlie Kloss: Swarovski's newest spokesmodel

Imagen
Ph: Craig McDean I like to think that Karlie has a plan that we don't know of and that's she's trying to conquer the world. After seeing her scoring this new contract, it makes even more sense. I'm not a big jewelry person, but even I knew Miranda Kerr was the face of Swarovski. Well, not anymore, because that's Karlie's job now. And she'll be doing that for 2 years/4 seasons.  These pictures I'll show you belong to the FW 16.17 campaign, and they'll start to appear on all the September issues during the month of August.  I'm not going to post all the pictures, just a few. But if you want to see them all, and just check anything Karlie related, check my friend Verónica's tumblr  http://justkarliekloss.tumblr.com/ I always mention her when I talk about Karlie, I know. But really, her tumblr is just too good. And that's where I get all my Karlie info ;) And both of us discovered that we've been pronouncing Swarovski...

Spring/Summer 2016 campaigns: La Perla, Sportmax, Givenchy & Dsquared2

My gif (Video source: Givenchy's yt channel) The last couple of seasons, we've witnessed different kinds of comebacks. Gemma's is probably the one that we didn't see coming, and that made it special on its own. But there's a model who's always there. She doesn't do much runway anymore, because she doesn't need it. But she's always there, getting campaigns and covers. I'm talking about the iconic Mariacarla Boscono. I said all of that because she got quite a few campaigns and Vogue covers in the last months. However, we can't call it a comeback because, as I said, she never left. Let's just talk about 4 of the 5 campaigns she got (I won't be talking about Nars, but it deserves the mention). Las últimas temporadas hemos sido testigos de distintos tipos de comeback. El de Gemma es probablemente el más inesperado, lo cual lo convierte en el más especial. Pero hay una modelo que siempre está ahí. No hace mucha pasa...

Cannes 2015: Miranda Kerr wearing David Koma & Emanuel Ungaro

Imagen
Today I want to talk about these two looks worn by Miranda Kerr in Cannes. I'm not a fan of any of them, and I'll let you know why. The David Koma outfit is really pretty, but I don't think it suits Miranda that well. Also, the hair is kind of boring. I'd love to see her with a nice updo, so we can see the clothes better. The Ungaro dress is too much. Too much cleavage, too much leg...I don't like it. And I don't like the colour either. It was a bad choice. I know Miranda is known for her great style, but she's very hit and miss for me.

Black Orchid by Tom Ford: Cara Delevingne vs Anna Jagodzinska

It's been over a year since the last time I did one of this "versus" posts. And I don't even know why I stopped doing them, since I really enjoy this idea. I'll give you the links for the other 3 "versus" posts that I did last year so you can check them out if you haven't already: -Miranda Kerr vs Vanessa Axente:  http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2013/04/vanessa-axente-for-vogue-italia-march.html -Rosie H-W vs Cara Delevingne:  http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2013/05/burberry-fragances-body-rosie-h-w-vs.html -Louis Vuitton Le Sac vs Louis Vuitton Alma:  http://putonachicface.blogspot.com.es/2013/04/louis-vuitton-handbag-campaigns-alma.html Today, we have to talk about Tom Ford. I wasn't into fashion when he was one of THE designers and I hate that. I saw some of his collections for Gucci and they were truly amazing. When I first started to follow this crazy fashion world, he was still considered as one of the best designers. He ...

Vogue covers (July 2014)

Imagen
Vogue Australia July 2014: Miranda Kerr by Nicole Bentley I don't really know how I feel about this cover. I like the pose, the styling,...but they made Miranda look really old. There's something wrong with the make-up and hair. No se muy bien cual es mi opinión respecto a esta portada. Me gusta la pose, el estilismo,...pero han hecho que Miranda parezca bastante más vieja de lo que es. Es cosa del maquillaje y el color del pelo. Vogue Netherlands July/August 2014: Malgosia Bela by Annemarieke van Drimmelen What a beautiful cover! I love everything about it. The styling is perfect for summer. Her pose is simple but nice. The hair looks amazing and she looks like the supermodels she is. ¡Qué portada tan bonita! No le saco peros. El estilismo es perfecto para el verano. La pose es simple pero bonita. Su pelo sale genial en esta foto, y ella parece una supermodelo, que es lo que es. Vogue China July 2014: Kati Nescher by Mikael ...
