I have been following the shows, but I couldn't really pay much attention to any of them. So I can't really tell you which collection I liked above the others or anything like that. But I can tell you that I loved the idea behind Dior's make-up for their FW 18.19 show. They were promoting these eyeliners by showing a different look on each girl and they managed to make me try them all...even the yellow! Definetely a cool idea. ¡¡Hola!! Hace mucho que no escribo. I am absolutely, deeply, insanely obsessed with Dior Beauty. And that is something you might have noticed already since I have featured this brand and its products multiple times in the past 12 months.  And if I had to choose just one product from this brand to use for the rest of my life, that would be their Lip Glow. It's honestly the best lip balm I have ever used, and I've tried quite a few.  Now they've got new shades and I want them all! What makes this product special is how effective it is. As someone with very dry skin and lips, I need that lip balm that really moisturizes my lips and basically saves them from the cold weather. And just a thin coat of Lip Glow does that, while it adds some lovely colour to my lips. The colour I own is the Pink one with the Glow finish, which is the most natural on me. I have been talking so much about Dior beauty lately that you must be bored by now. But, honestly, they are the make-up brand that excites me the most at the moment.  Peter Philips has taken the brand to another level. His latest idea? A "metallics" collection. The stars of the collection are the "metalizer eyes&lips". But the eyeshadow palettes deserve a mention as well. Skincare is a tricky one, isn't? What works for me, won't work for you even if we have the same skin type. For someone, a 5$ moisturizer is fine, while others need to invest more because their skin needs a certain ingredient, for example. And then, we have premium/luxury skincare. Some of those products are absolutely life changing, but most of them, in my opinion, are pure hype. But what 99% of them have in common is that I never pay attention to them. So, the fact that this line caught my eye says a lot. The campaign, the packaging, the concept, ...it's all very appealing. By being involved in the fashion world, I get to see how the most gorgeous girls have days when they don't feel pretty. We all have those days, and there's nothing wrong with it. I mean, we also have days when we look at the mirror and really like what we see. My point is that, in general, I get to see that most women are quite insecure. Even the prettiest ones. It took me years to accept the way I look and it may take you even longer, but please, get to that point. I'm so much happier now that I accept my looks, flaws included.  Our priority should be being confident enough to leave the house with our head held high, which automatically makes people respect you. On models.com, they have several lists dedicated to divide models in categories. One of them is the one called "trending". On that one, they feature models who have achieved big things recently, which means they're "trending/trendy". I checked that list before starting to type this entry and was surprised by the fact that Grace isn't on it. To me, she's trendy enough. And one of the big achievements is this editorial for Dior Magazine. Despite not being the most original editorial ever seen, it is insanely stunning. And so is Grace. What happens when you put my favourite model on an editorial modeling beauty looks created by one of my favourite make-up artists, who uses products from one of my favourite beauty brands? I LOVE it. However, I still wanted to share with you this new "Backstage Pros" video that Dior has released. What I like about these videos is how fun they are, and how you get to see the products being used. It's not a retouched picture where you can't really appreciate how the products work.  Two of my favourites, Ola and Maartje, are on the video. That only makes it better. When I saw this picture of Bella surrounded by Dior bags I thought: Oh well, let's wait until they make it official and say that she's signed a contract with them.  I didn't have to wait long, did I? Last week, she was named Dior's newest beauty ambassador. Do I like this? Hell no! First of all, I get that they signed her as a celebritie rather than as a model. I get that, and it's fine. But having Jennifer Lawrence as part of the Dior family, it just seems stupid. Are they trying to find a cheaper version of Jennifer? It looks like it. Some people called it a desperate move too.
