#tbt: Taylor Hill for Alexandre Vauthier S/S 2017

Imagen
For today's throwback, I've got two favourites working together: Taylor Hill and Alexandre Vauthier. I hate to admit that his last two collections for HC have been slightly disappointing, since they were a bit too over the top for my taste. What I always liked from Vauthier was how good he was at making effortlessly sexy clothes. He normally makes a show for the big HC collections, but just releases a lookbook to present us the RTW collections.  One of my favourites has to be the one for the S/S 2017 season, featuring Taylor Hill. On it we can see the effortless sexiness I already mentioned. It's very chic too, but more tamed that the HC collections, of course. And Taylor wears the clothes beautifully. Every single picture inspires me. Ph: David Bellemere Para el throwback de hoy he juntado a dos favoritos: Taylor Hill y Alexandre Vauthier.  Odio admitir que sus dos últimas coleccio...

Chanel Mademoiselle Dreams Summer 2017: Vittoria Ceretti

Chanel beauty has created a new limited edition collection for this summer, and it is very pink.  They've got some lovely lipsticks and nail polishes with exclusive shades, which always makes us want it more. I haven't tried any of the products, but if they are as lovely as the Chanel beauty products that I already own, they'll be worth the money. I'll definetely check it out when it is release in the UK. What about you? ¿Vosotros?

Campaign season queens (S/S 17): Kiki Willems

Kiki in 2014 Welcome to part two of queens of the SS 17 campaign season. Today, we're talking about my current fave, Kiki Willems. Kiki's career was a bit different than Vittoria Ceretti's, who I talked about a couple of days ago. Early in her career she got a massive exclusive for SLP, and she also got to open the show and to do the campaign. After that, she could already count with lots of powerful people on her team: Ashley Brokaw, Steven Meisel, Willy V., ... This means she has gotten many opportunities to prove her talent...and believe me, she really is talented.  I mainly love her print work, but she also has tons of personality on the runway. For this season, she scored 10 campaigns, which makes her the model with more campaigns. Total queen ;) Zara, by Steven Meisel Calvin Klein by Appointment, by Willy Vanderperre Calvin Klein Collection, by Willy Vanderperre Calvin Klein Jeans, by Willy Vanderperre Prada, by Wil...

Campaign season queens (S/S 17): Vittoria Ceretti

14 years-old Vitto, 2013 Today I wanted to talk to you about one of the campaign queens of the season. Since I haven't talked about many campaigns this season, I thought it'd be nice to show you a good bunch of them while talking about the two models who scored the most ads this season.  I'm talking about Vittoria and Kiki Willems, two of my favourites. Vittoria got 9 campaigns and Kiki 10, but I will talk about her on Friday. Vitto started her career in 2013, and she managed to book some good shows and campaigns, mainly for Armani and D&G. But it wasn't until Ashley Brokaw gave her the seal of appoval that she got all the (deserved) attention she's getting now. For the SS 17 season, she got 9 campaigns and she was also part of the March cover of US Vogue, which is an incredible achievement for a model. Here are her campaigns: Ralph Lauren Icons, by Steven Meisel YSL 03, by Nathalie Canguilhem Fendi, by Karl Lagerfeld ...

Gigi x Tommy Hilfiger (Spring 2017)

I'm not the biggest fan of fashion collaborations, but this one was meant to be. Gigi represents that American vybe that TH is known for.  This second collection is a bit different from the first, which I personally liked more. However, this one is more Gigi than the previous one and you can see that in the way those clothes look on her. I really look forward to trying on the jumpsuit, though. Gorgeous! ¡Precioso!
